This is a short documentary on the Afghan Community residing in parts of India especially in New Delhi, Capital of India.
Far from their home in Afghanistan, these Afghan Refugees have a home in India.
The situation in Afghanistan is still not good and therefore many Afghans move out of the country and live in other countries as refugees and migrants. Their favourite place to reside is India.
India and Afghanistan have a great bond and they are known for their friendship. A large number of Afghan migrants in India stay in New Delhi's Lajpat Nagar and Khirkee Extension.
On September 3, 2020, 184 Afghan Hindu and Sikh migrants were brought to India.

Infact, he is among those who are calling out Biden again and again for his cowardice. You can check out his latest 'National Interest' column in 'The Print'. Shekhar has very deep knowledge of Afghanistan as he had covered the country from the ground, even during Taliban1.0 rule. He tells stories of various Afghan warlords and genesis of 'Mujahiddins' like Gulbadin Bakhtiyar and Ahmad Shah Madoud. He has been making CTC episodes on deteriorating condition of Afghanistan. He even called American negotiator to Taliban, Zalmay Khalilzad a 'conflict entrepreneur' commenting that all the education from American universities can give you knowledge but there is no guarantee that it can give you sensibility to understand the pain and suffering of your own countrymen.

I am not his fan or fan of any journalists, but follow right wing and left wing media. SG and leftist org act like constipated when they have to report on any Islamist groups.

Just like any social science subject, in journalism too, context matters very much. We shouldn't make view about anyone based on single experience. It is not healthy for ourselves. SG hates left especially their economy. He keeps criticising Congress as it has turned towards extreme left under new leadership. If he is leftist then why his news channel and he himself keep supporting new labour and Agriculture laws! Infact he criticised Modi Govt. for not able to implement these laws.

Yesterday there was another protest ,I never expected them to do that..they were telling that they are not given anything here and wanted visa arrangements to go to Canada/some other place... It's sad.They are extremely ungrateful for our shelter and this will turn out to defaming our country.

The indian government gave shelter yes and they are thankful for that but they cant live as "beggars" in a poor country especially. If they can go to Canada or western countries atleast, they can support themselves and live a somewhat comfortable life even if its a poor job.

Afghan refugees now started protesting and demanding more privileges in India and that cannot happen. They can stay in India till Afghanistan is good enough to live but demanding every privilege an Indian has cannot be possible. There is difference between a citizen and refugee.. 👍
