      @@alvinthepmofficial thanks, I need days, I was concerned with the Coursera rules I have many courses completed, but didn't get the certification due to cost. Where I live, its 2k Dollars GDP per capita n 1 dollar concerts to 90 in local currency .I will get one month's subscription n get all the certificates .

    Remember people, it doesn't matter where you learn what you learn. Results are the only meaningful truths. Will you be able to provide something to the company you wanna work for, by studying through Coursera ( or any platform for that matter )? If the answer is yes, and if Coursera is what would motivate you and help you to study, then that is your path to success. Always use what you feel motivated by ( but also be mindful of scams, obviously coursera is not a scam ).

    If you're open to feedback, I found the music very distracting - the volume was a factor, but mainly the beat itself wasn't particularly relaxing or easy to ignore. Something slower and quieter works better in my opinion. Thank you for the video regardless

      Just wanted to add since I have been thinking since earlier how to describe the feeling when I hear the sound mixed in with your voice, it feels like u know the little white dot on a plane black canvas, even though most of the canvas is black, u can’t help but notice the little white dot on it. That’s how the sound feels like, I keep focusing on your voice since I’m interested in what you’re saying but the sound gets mixed in, it doesn’t blend well with your calming voice and it’s distracting.
      Anyway, it was good content tho I managed to finally finish your video by skimming through it. I also subbed

    It depends. If you have plenty of time and determination to finish many courses, the plus is worth it. Although I am determined, but I don't have much time. I can only finish one course a month. What I did is to apply financial aid and I am only paying for 5 bucks per course. Still you can never go wrong for investing in your learning.

      @@alvinthepmofficial the Generative AI courses of Dr. Jules White from Vanderbilt University plus Basic Statistics from (four as of now). These are gold. But once I get out of my 8-5PM job, Il'l probably consider the plus since I have more time to study.

    Great video for someone that is new to the platform. Thanks Alvin. I am primarily looking at their Cyber Security Certs(I am currently a Database Admin). I think this platform looks like it will definitely be worth the $399 price tag.

      Are you sure that the courses that you take are included with Coursera plus?, because there are too many that are not included and you have to pay for it

    my only main question is are the certificate's real? and would they truly hold up on a resume or in a interview trying to land a job?

      I assume so as even if you just go for the google ones the Coursea platform is also affiliated with universities even on the "Ivy" tier. That should hold SOME weight. Especially in this economy.
      If you do land an interview it's then up to you but I do think the certs should help you get your foot in the door.

    Thanks for the info ,I wanna do the SEF specialization and I want to do at least 3 in 3 months ,used to the pressure im a third year in comsci ,so will that be possible
    basically one per month or two months ,like maybe js full-stack & UX design in two months then maybe another 1 I havent made a decision on yet 😭I just wanna add to my resume
    unfortunately they are both IBM so I cant do coursera plus

      I haven't seen the payment structure you're talking about. If you have coursera plus, you will get a certificate upon successful completion of the course. So, no, you will not need to pay an additional fee to get a certificate for the course you successfully complete if you have coursera plus.

      @@rafapereira1301 With coursera plus you get a certificate for each course you complete. No, you don't need to pay more money. All costs are included in the coursera plus monthly fee. You have to make sure the course is included with coursera plus, which most are. There are exceptions for a handful of courses.

      The Specialization course --- 1. Introduction to Cosmetic Science and Ingredients Specialization
      or Take them all separate 4 course series
      1. Introduction to Cosmetic and Skincare Science
      Course 1 13 hours
      2. Cosmetic Formulation Science
      Course 2 10 hours
      3. Cosmetic Product Development
      Course 3 12 hours
      4. Quality Control and Regulatory in Cosmetic Science
      Course 4 9 hours
      You will receive a certificate for each course plus another for the Specialization
      In the end you still you will receive a Specialization Certificate of completion for the entire course

      Having a certificate vs no certificate will always help you with getting a job. Having a degree, plus a certificate, will also significantly be helpful.

      @@alvinthepmofficial Well, it's hard to explain, but in general, for newbies who don't know everything, it's able to build a foundation. However, one of the most terrible features you will encounter is peer-review grading. If I'm lucky, I only get trolled two or three times, which means that it always happens that one person will give you the maximum points, and another will give you zero points, even if you are right. This can lead to failing that part, causing you to be late in achieving the certificate. This makes me so angry. If I'm not lucky, I need to resubmit many times to pass this.

      You are searching for miracles, there are many schools out there who say that they can offer
      you assistance in finding a job, its based on bs. Take your courses and add them up only add the ones that are needed, and you have to sell your self in a interview to get the job no one else can do it for you
      What kind of job do you want I will tell the basic skill set you need and which courses you should take.

    So if I plan to completely 2 courses for 3 months of summer. Can I just pay for 2 months and then cancel, still I can get the certificate?

      Yes, if you choose the Monthly option, you can cancel at any time and get your certificate (as long as you finish the programs before you cancel your monthly subscription). Hope that helps!

    I just want to warn everyone that I paid $100 USD out of pocket for an amazon certificate that I passed the test for and obtained and still have not received any difference in job applications in job application responses or oppurtinities.

      From course era? Do you have a college degree ? I’m looking to learn coding and thought that I could use this to give prospective employers some sort of credential.
      Also what kind of Amazon certificate did you do?

      Yes, if you get the Coursera Plus option, you will have access to get the Certificates for each course you take through Coursera.
