9:10: this is from an episode titled, "a royal problem". The one on the right side is in one of the first scenes, here is how it goes:
Starlight: * looking around the room and hears music. She then looks to the right of the room and sees twilight on a music box * "twilight? Is that you? How are you here?"
Twilight: "I'm not! I'm still home! It's an easy spell! I'll show you later! Anyways, enough about me! I came to check on you! Not in the medeling kind of way! I mean a friendly kind of way! So, how's it going?"
Starlight: "not great. I think the problem might be between Celestia an Luna!"
Twilight: "oh no, that's terrible! I mean, what makes you say that?"
Starlight: "you know how ponies say nothing's wrong but you can tell something's definitely wrong?"
Twilight: "noooo......eheh..."
Starlight: "well, that's what the princesses did when I said there was a freindship problem. Only, they did it more.....reagily."
Twilight: "I wish I could help, but I can't. Both for map reasons and because I have no idea! This is big! Like, REALLY big!"
Starlight: "gulp!"
Twilight: "but I'm here if you ever need to talk, or listen to music..eheh....conforming, right?"
Starlight: * hops back on to the bed. *
And the one on the left side is from a nightmare sequence from the same episode. Here's how that goes:
Starlight: "no.......NO!"
Twilight: "this is big! Like, REALLY big!"

I never just sit and watch a speed paint, this I think is special because, I sat and watched. You have another sub!
It's so cool that you can make it look realistic and cartoonish at the same time!
Overall, it looks really great. I love the shading and the idea. But may I say that star lights right ( her right) eye seems a little off. I think it's the way you creased it (is that even a word?) but as I say, overall it looks amazing.
LamentedMusings it could be on purpose though. Some people seem to wince when they regret things.
Maybe it’s an anatomy thing? I’m no expert. But judging by the way she had her mouth- kinda frowning on one side, that side of her face’s muscles naturally follows? I don’t know, that’s just what I think haha. Maybe it’s based on an expression from the episode? Sorry this is like three years late XD

Techna marc1 Twilights eyes of if I remember correctly don't do that. It's more of a metaphor of the episode I think but I watched the episode a long time ago so I might be wrong. You will have to see the episode to understand
