My brother went to laser tag one time. Someone got above a room divider and held down the trigger and waved his gun around. He got a ton of points and never got in trouble for it.
Thanks for the info! How about a video about running a mobile laser tag business? How to get customers? How to find places to play in the city? What about leagues?
The best approach is to create a bond with the clients - talk to them, use social media to keep in touch etc. Also find organizations, who require your services - boy scouts associations, paramilitary groups, event organizers, hotel owners, big IT, stock or banking companies who like spending part of their budgets on events etc. It's easier to find outdoor places for mobile lasertag, but You could try negotiating with sport halls or warehouse owners - depending on what is legal in your country. Be prepared to have a bigger vehicle and some movable obstacles.
Here in the UK we play Airsoft in the rain (rarely does it rain all day or rain heavy all day) or at "urban" sites.......so the 3 red dots does not reflect my experience of over a decade of airsofting.
I am seriously considering this. There is an abandoned grain mill with several buildings/structures (all stripped) on about 10 acres near me. Can be had cheap. Has woods, fields and urban spaces. Perfect. I have been a Director of Ops at an $80m/yr business. I understand sales, ops, accounting, marketing, ecommerce, advertising, purchasing, POS systems, CC processing/gateways, IT systems and network management, inventory systems, retail (business had a store), B2B sales, vendor relations, dealer programs, cust service obviously, product mgt/development, writing, basic photography/videography, etc etc. Importantly, I played airsoft/paintball and have been building guns for 20 years. I currently work in banking (business finance) so I understand SBA/bank lending on a molecular level. The business I ran (but didn't own, I reported to ownership) frequently catered to gun owners, LE and military. Im ready to obsess over this. My only hang up is, would I be content with the money?
I hope you end up going for it. I'm watching this ask the way from Ghana, and I'm also seriously considering this as a business because paintball has become quite popular in the last couple of years
That is why they chose laser-tag as a business platform, they didn't just do a random decision. I played paintball when it was first introduced and played professionally for 12 years, then played airsoft competitively as well as being a reserve deputy we adopted using airsoft for training the last 10 years . And last 10 years have played laser-tag and find it to have WAY too many benefits then both airsoft and paintball combined. Both PB & AS you can cheat very very easily, laser tag you cannot, PB & AS are limited outdoor distances even with "hop-up" systems with limits of 100 feet and when outdoors of winds 5mph and over is unplayable (this is tested with the BEST gear on the market) PB & AS you cannot keep stats of hit accuracy or hits per game as most laser tag systems offer full array of stats and can even display player health on a display board with live stats and even be online or even be integrated with television display along with field cameras, just way way too many better things with laser-tag. Another benefit with very competitive pricing you can get some laser-tag guns that can accurately hit targets 2 full football fields away where the best paintball gun system on the market can only go is the width of 1 football field with zero wind and airsoft about the same with zero wind where laser-tag can be played in a hurricane (I know that nobody would play in that), so that is why they talk it up and those are the stats you wanted.
Airsoft is more profitable, kids can play airsoft, kids can play paintball but will cry after getting hit by a large projectile moving at 13 joules. Airsoft can be played for under 200$ and with that you get the gun and protection for you to play with your friend in the backyard if you both have atleast 200$. An airsoft gun can be upgraded and repaired. Paintball is more expensive because amo is more expensive because you can't bring your own amo, and the guns are twice the price of a entry level aeg.
All alright, I agree with your conclusion of laser tag being more profitable, but there is a big but... the bias you have is too greatly affecting your "rating" (1-3). The three are much closer than you give them credit for, examples are that airsoft in good weather or indoors has a very long accurate range and paintball indoors or outdoors (yes they can all be played indoors but only laser tag cannot be played outdoors) will be just fine in wet/ cold/ hot/ snowing/ muddy environments. Also, laser tag is not accurate after the equipment is dropped whereas other actual guns do not lose any functionality unless it's a serious hit (like throwing the gun barrel first into something hard). Just saying.
Maybe in the past but there are several company's with reliable gear that can tolerate hard hits and are very reliable. I have the guns from battle company and their guns while basic handle rough terrain and at 100 yards the lasers are accurate. They have more advance models and these guys seems to have even more advanced gear which I plan on buying to expand my business.
Paintball not affordable since the late 2000s Airsoft is affordable and profitable but if more legislation keeps making airsoft less avaliable like Australia then just airsoft itself might not be profitable in the future Lasertag is facing competition and setup costs compared to VR rentals or airsoft but it can become profitable in the future if laser tag popularity improves
I respect you, I need your help and I hope you can help me, I also want the suit on you, just like yours in the presentation, where can I get it, or where did you buy it? I really like how the uniform with the vest and gloves looks on you. And I would like to wear the same. Give me a concrete answer and as soon as you can because I have a very important event coming up And I don't have a costume, and the one I saw on you is wonderful. Thank you! Good luck in everything you do.
I watched another video saying to use nerf business for a kids area or for kids parties. More kid friendly and probably only need a small area plus add food packages for parties to make good money
If you can have a endless supply of bullets am sure it would be much more kid friendly. Issue would be all the crazy variations of nerf guns out there! Think about it, why would a parent pay several hundred dollars when they can just buy cheap brand nerfs off Amazon or Walmart. Laser tag guns are in the hundreds to begin with so it justifies the charge or expense for a parent IF the gear works and looks awesome.

I went to a laser tag site once and got strep throat for 2 weeks lmao

Lol this feels so biased towards laser tag because your a laser tag manufacturer. You didn't give no real metrics other than prices for laser tag.

Where are your numbers. Or proof, you provide some genuine insight but without showing your working your answer seems disingenuous.
What about nerf business
