    Just bought one myself... having fun with it....I put an electric fan on it form RMC cuz I was worried about the overheat at idle... don't forget your bark busters... have fun!

      That's awesome man! It is an enjoyable bike. Nice thinking with the fan, I'll consider it too. Yup I definitely gotta put the hand guards and frame guards, also got radiator guards, just need to find the time to install everything 😊 have fun also brotha! Let the good times roll!

    I just picked up one yesterday. I think the oil burning is normal when breaking in because the piston rings still haven’t seated yet. When the salesman rode mine to my trailer it did the same thing when he snapped the throttle.

      Congrats man! I think you're right, also it probably has to do with the break in oil that comes with the bike, after I changed the oil I haven't seen it so that again. ✌️

      Same with my bike , I just did first oil change, dot worry about the smoke, the only problem with mine is that the front suspension is leaking 😑😑😑 I have no idea why , I’m from Leominster Massachusetts

    I have a 250fx and have always wanted a Kawi. I hoping they put the map switch and app for the 2025 model. Sub’d bc of your “style” 😅

      Yeah the map switch would be cool. For now it's just 3 connector plugs they give with different maps. Thanks for the Support! 💪💪

    Get it good and warm, shut it off and let it cool.
    Get it nice and warm again and go ride it the way you intend to ride it.
    Keep the oil changed.
    Theres no reason to baby things like people used to say to.

    • @MototalkUSA
      @MototalkUSA  11 месяцев назад

      Yeah man, that's the biggest thing, to cycle the heat a few times. Kind of like what the manual says.

    • @NubsWithGuns
      @NubsWithGuns 11 месяцев назад +1

      @@MototalkUSA Every engine builder that seemed to know what they were talking about would mention heat cycles to me.
      I guess over the years it was figured out that we were babying bearings and seals to the point they would never fully seat and cause more harm.
      At least that is what I understood.
      And at the same time I am not recommending spending a bunch of money and hammering on something brand new LoL.
      Just no reason to treat them like a china doll.
      All my opinion though since I really show anything to back me up other than my stuff runs great and my pull starts fire first pull dead cold.
      Thaks for the reply.

      @@NubsWithGuns yup, makes total sense to me. Also synthetic oil is a NO when braking in an engine. Not enough wear occurs to mate in the surfaces together. Not to confuse tho, it's fine after it's broken in to use it as the first oil change. Thank you for your comment too ☺️

    Hey sir I have a question what gears was you riding in when breaking in the bike ?

      @@alexandrumarius5042 nah, it's actually best to go through all gears so each gear can break in as well 😉

    Just ride it like you stole it for about 5min , change the oil then it’s broken in . Compression and heat cycle is all it takes

    • @MototalkUSA
      @MototalkUSA  8 месяцев назад

      Yup, heat cycle is the biggest thing, it "burns in" the metals

      Why dont Kawasaki put that in the manual then

    • @Ridingwheels1
      @Ridingwheels1 8 месяцев назад

      Liability reason . From a mechanical standpoint modern engines just need one or two heat cycles under load and They are set.
