I laughed several times at this video only because it reminds me so much of my own current experiences with my kids 😂😅. I too am terrible at leaving things in random places, and I feel like as a parent you just want your kids to avoid the same frustrations that you dealt with and speed up their learning curve on those same things. It’s hard not to be frustrated but I think you’re coming from the right place. ❤

Way to go Josh! Kids connect the dots and learn from those lessons. You’re doing it right

As a parent, teaching life lessons can be tuff but in the long run it’s definitely worth it. Good stuff!

one thing you can do is either start wearing one yourself and when you stop take your helmet off and hook the chin strap and hook it on the handlebars if you don't want to wear one and i can definitely relate to that just teach him to do that as soon as he leaves the seat of the bike take it off and put on handlebars good luck this coming year I enjoy all your content I'm not much on podcast but watch most all of yours

I get graphic when I tell my kids about things that could happen to them in like farm accidents and what not. I don't hold back, even will show them pics of accidents or people that lost there arms to a pto and what not. My dad did with me when I was little and it stuck with me

Its a replaceable helmet. Thats all. Teaching is not discipline. Telling him he has to work to get another helmet is the best thing. Great job dad.
