Aw thank you! Yes this would be a great cost effective Mother’s Day gift! You can attach rolled flowers to a canvas, wood sign, or shadow box. You can also add stems on the flowers and create a bouquet that she can keep forever! I have a video on that as well.

Could I make a bigger rolled flower? And how would I just glue strands together or should I just do the pedal method? I just want some around 6 inches

You can use Cricut’s reverse tweezers since they can hold the paper without you having to pinch it the entire time.
A Bobby pin works too. Not as well as a quilling tool though.

Hello! I just purchased a cricut and was wondering what blade did you use? The regular fine point blade or the deep point blade for card stock?
Hey Kimmy! For 65lb cardstock like I"m using in this video, you can just use your regular Fine Point Blade.

Use the backing to measure the size of paper you’ll need. The size of the flowers is personal preference ☺️
Rolled flowers are 25% the size from when they are cut, so a 4" cut will equal a 1" rolled flower. You would need 400 1" flowers if you lay them in a 20x20 grid. If you used 2" rolled flowers, you would need 100 in a 10x10 grid

What size rose template would be best for a 12x12 shadow box?!
I would make the cut as wide as the paper allows so that you can make less flowers to fill up your shadowbox.

how do you get your petals so smooth? Mine end up being bent no matter how tight I do/don't make it
Are you using a quiling tool when you fold the paper? That helps with keeping them smooth a lot.
How long does it take you to make one flower with rolled edges?
To actually roll and glue it, I guess it takes around 5 minutes per flower depending on the size of it.
What setting do use to cut it!
It depends on the cardstock. For 65lb use the light cardstock setting, but for 80lb use medium cardstock setting.

Using the 8 in template to cut and after you were done, about what size was the completed flower?
I would say it was between 2-3 inches. You can adjust how tightly it’s rolled before gluing to make it a desired size ☺️

Oh my goodness, best video for me to learn! Yesterday it took me all day to make flowers and I lost the pattern😬 I couldn’t make any more.. good news is I found you just now and I only burned my finger once,😂 Do you need to spray the flowers? My husband loves the flowers I made and couldn’t believe it! Lol but he asked if we needed to spray them?

Have you ever used construction paper or colored paper to make your flowers? Cardstock can be so expensive in some places. Great video.
I haven't used construction paper. I think it would rip easily, so I prefer cardstock. I buy my 65lb cardstock at Michael's or on Amazon and I think the prices are pretty reasonable!

Oh my gosh I spend hours this afternoon trying to roll flowers. Watched Jennifer Maker, still no success. Thanks to your video my flowers are coming out beautiful!! Dropping them and adding more glue, then rolling the petals out has made all the difference!! And this is Ava not James!!

Why do I have to pay for the file on design space when I have Cricut access?
That should only be happening with licensed images if you have an active Cricut Access subscription. Otherwise contact Cricut Customer Service.
