Yes, these videos are HUGELY inspirational! I am attempting to finish my second novel to be published with a newborn at home, my third, and watching another mom rock the Mommy author life helps SO much on the days when I just wanna quit. Thank you so much for sharing everything, even the struggles
I'm loving the Nano diaries and being able to see a little bit more into how you handle things behind the scenes. And since they tend to come in the evening, they're the perfect reminder for those days when I haven't had a chance to get words in yet, like today, lol. Since I refuse to have a zero day this month, I'm gonna try to get in at least 100 words tonight. Here's hoping it'll turn into more! Good luck with the editing!

I try to get all my writing done in the mornings when it is quieter in the house. My son is at school my daughter is still in her room getting ready for her day of virtual learning. But sometimes I will get that flash of "I have to get this written" in the evenings. I love this video series and it helps remind me that even if i only get 300 words it counts and I am showing up and still writing. Thank you so much! Can't wait for the 2021 planner to come out!
I can't write during the day. My husband is distance teaching and I'm with my boys all day. I can only write after they go to bed.
I think it's great you're enjoying NaNo diaries.
I never decorate for Christmas until the last Sunday of advent, which is the last Sunday before Christmas Day. I leave it up until the Feast of the Epiphany, which is partway through January.

Working a full time job and trying to find time to write is probably one of the hardest things I have ever done. I'm really behind on my word count but Im still pushing on and going to try and catch up this weekend 😊

Its not too early to decorate for Christmas. I put up my decorations on November 1st. I have started watching Christmas Movies listening to Christmas Music and started coloring my digital Christmas Coloring Pages 🙂

I am more of a burning the midnight oil writer. I have 2 school kids and a 2 year old toddler. Since the school is closed due to covid, I can't write in the day.

I definitely thought I was more focused and better at writing in the evening, but then 2020 happened and I started writing in the morning before the day job(6-8 am) and I'm much better!
I love watching these vlogs. I’ve been stuck in a plotting hole, so words aren’t happening right now. But some good news. We got an offer on our house, so that’s a huge weight lifted. I can’t wait to see your evening routine. That’s the time I struggle with most. I’m finally getting into an evening journaling habit, but some days it’s hard.

Never too early to decorate for Christmas.
Next week I'm thinking to start decorate for Christmas. In the summer we just moved in a new place, so I hope I'll do something special for Christmas this year. On the 23 it's my son birthday, so it will be extra special. Oh and by the way, my reward since Nano started, is to watch your vlogs. Annd, my reward if get to write those 50k words, is a brand new gaming keybord 😁

We decorated our outside this past weekend, it was in the 70s up here in Chicago and we did NOT want to miss out on that. Normally if we're decorating for Christmas it will be either in the 20s or lower so we definitely took advantage of that nice weather. Inside the house, we probably won't put up our Christmas tree until the day after Thanksgiving just because we won't have room to have our immediate family over for turkey dinner if we put up our tree now. :P Keep up the amazing work! I'm currently behind, but hoping to catch up soon!

Yup yup! We're going to decorate for Christmas starting next week. The weekend will be removing the Halloween decorations (yes, we still have those, bring some happiness and fun to this year).
As for when I right, night owl all the way. Though it's been hard what with the exhaustion I've been feeling these past weeks. It hasn't let up yet but I'm hoping to being able to get more words in in the next few days than I have since the beginning of the month.

Im going to decorate my moms house for Christmas early this year! Im moving out after having been here with her for almost two years, and I know how much her Christmas tree especially, mean to her, so I gotta get that up before I go.

I already decorated for Christmas. After this year, I really needed it. I like to write at night and by night I mean from 9pm to midnight. Anything after midnight just does not happen for me. Lol

I write at night more than in the morning. I now write for 15 minutes in the late morning but don't start again until after six. I've got over 15, 000 words for Nano so far, so I'm a little behind but I believe I'll catch up in time.
Loved the vlog. I prefer writing in the morning because I'm an early riser. Also, I tend to procrastinate. If I wait til later, it won't get done.
I’ve been decorating my bedroom today and we plan to decorate the rest of the house on the weekend just spent so much money on decor today and already planned the next trip and what to buy. Very into the festive season! 🎅🏼🎄🎊

I love Procrastiplanner etc's writing stickers. I have a lot of Lace & Whimsy's stickers from her subscription boxes. Mostly staying on track with writing.
I'm starting to think I wont make my little goals with how little i have been able to write. But i wont give up.
Thank you! for this weekly plan with me it's a reminder for me to be more organized with my weekly planning and how I should also do a no sticker bye for the rest of this year as I too have more than I need. I think I might put some together as a give away when I start uploading videos on my channel. What would be you advice? stay safe and take care.

I really need to get my planning organised. I just tend to bumble through and then wonder why I never get enough done. I just always find that pre-printed planners are so restrictive. I tried Bullet Journalling cause that's like the ultimate unrestricted planner, right, but I find it tedious to have to draw out my layouts each week.

When you're logged in to the NaNo site, click the "My Nanowrimo" in the link menu across the top. That will drop down a sub-menu, and from there you choose "Stats - Track your writing progress". That will land you on the page Sarra shows, with all of your updates, progress, daily word count, etc. :)

I write both first thing in the morning and in the evening. Pretty much whenever I can because I work 9-5 otherwise.
I typically write at night after my kids go to bed. It's next to impossible during the day. I'm at a little over 10k. 7k lower than my goal! Ahhhh

I’m curious since you love to plan if that gets in the way of actually doing things that are planned? I know you have your planners and then you have your kanban board plus that new board on the other wall which seems like a lot. So I’m curious what is the difference between them all? Congrats on hitting 20k!
It's all part of the same process. The Kanban is the list of tasks from my HB90 system, so each week when I'm creating the task list I go back to board and figure out what I'll do, add it to the planner, and then schedule it out. The new board is just an overview. I'm not actively planning on it. I just use it to see the full quarter at a glance.

Ok this is a newbie question so don’t make fun of me. What does it mean when it is said to “win” NaNoWriMo? Does it just mean to hit the 50k words? 🤪🤪
I'm more of a night write it's when Im the most creative but there been time where I can write in the morning. But NANO tells me That I'm a Mid day flamingo.
