Hey SG, hope your summer is going well. I imagine you are busy with the family, business and boating. Selfishly hoping you will put out some new content soon.
Ted H Hey Ted, things are pretty good right now. I hope your business is going well! As for content, I reached an apex where I decided I can't realistically grow my channel with my current setup, so I'm outfitting with a new camera, computer, and dialing in the garage a little. The reason I decided this is my computer STOPPED working, which is pretty cool. I'm chipping away at videos on my backuo computer, but that thing takes 20 times as long, just can't handle the video. As a side note, I did end up getting a job with the machinist union as a maintenance mechanic. This is a big deal for my family, and will definitely take some financial load off. Hopefully I can post again soon!
Congrats Taylor on the new maintenance mechanic position. The skill set that you've developed lends itself greatly to this position I'm certain. Sorry to learn of your technology challenges but excited to see new content in the future and I'm really glad things are on the upswing for you and your family. I stay pretty busy most weeks and and thankful for the opportunities clients afford to me as well as the relationships I build with many of them. Super busy on my family farm these days as we have multiple gardens and many acres to maintain. Life is good but full of challenges.
Ted H I'm really excited for the day that we have property like yours. My lifestyle is difficult in a neighborhood. Things are working out, it's been years in the making but it's happening sooner than later! Glad to hear business is going well. Keeping busy is what keeps us alive.
Strange Garage life in the country is so much simpler than life in the city. I know exactly what you mean brother. Will pray that day comes sooner than later for you and your family when you've got a place in the country. So many freedoms are afforded that are not when you live in a city.
I admire the project’s intent. But there are a lot of other options other than a plain straight line to show the gears moving. Cutting out basic geometric shapes like circles, squares and triangles out of different colored card stock and gluing them on would provide a lot more visual interest.
Advance thinking for your kid. This will drive his curiousity and creativity. Keep it up.
Good job getting this put together for your son so he can grasp the mechanics, lucky boy!
Good job dude!!! I’ll have to make one myself!
My boy would love this stuff.

Very nice!
Thanks brother!
What cnc machine is this? I'm trying to get into wood work!
Hey what CNC machine are you using and what software?
did u cut aluminium with it?
Just recently started cutting aluminum. With good bits and a cooling blower it cuts nicely.
👍👍👍
what bit are you using?
I can't remember off the top of my head, but I believe they're 2 flute 1/16" carbide. Real fragile but they cut pretty well.
