Been a Hawk owner for 4 + years and first I watched :( EXCELLENT information for any owner but especially a newbie. Might not if at a campsite with Electrical hookup that we turn breakers off at junction box... hookup and then throw breaker at box. Protect yourself and your camper.

When I'm plugging into shore power at home, I turn off the main breaker inside the camper, plug in the extension cord and then throw the main breaker in the camper to avoid the arc. When at a electrical campsite i'll use the breaker at the pedestal (or both, hard to break the habit).

Is there any info on where the wires go from the power converter to the batteries to charge them from shore power? We have a 2014 Eagle.

Does the round silver 12 volt switch affect if the solar panels can or can not charge depending on switch on/off?

The solar will charge the battery regardless if the "kill" switch is on or off. Hope this helps!
