I am also a kindle girly, but theres something about *owning* your favorite books and being able to grab one off the shelf and flip through to your favorite parts, so worth it
I read almost everything on my kindle too but I started buying physical copies this year and having them all to look at brings me so much joy 😂 it’s just so cozy ❤

I do that EXACT same thing with my books. I am strictly a kindle reader but if I end up LOVING a book I’ll buy the hardcover copy (the prettiest one I can find) to display on my bookshelves. I find this to be a much cheaper option rather than buying all the hard copies of books to read that I may not even like, and then I get to display all the ones I end up really enjoying on my bookshelf. It’s much more organized, pretty and efficient this way for me.
I love how you have become a book girly! not crazy at all to buy the hard copy of the books, it's two different hobbies and the book buying one is a dangerous hobby ahahha
When you get into book series it get more dangerous because when you get obsessed with having the set matching it hurts when you can’t find the matching covers
I only buy books that I love. I used to buy hard copies on a whim and I donated a lot because I realized I didn’t care to have the “meh” ones on my shelf. But 5 star books? Yes for me!
Reading on kindle for comfort and then having the physical books on your home is a very common practice!! I live in a small apartment so I only buy the hardcovers or paperbacks of my all time favourites, but you should DEFINETLY start doing it if you like it
Of course I watch this right after getting home from a Trader Joe’s haul myself and see things I wish I got! Just means another trip is needed 😋🎃

I've really gotten into reading the last few years, and I've started buying the books I love to add to my bookshelf! Otherwise I also just read on my kindle. I love having a physical copy to write in and gush about characters all over again 😍
Omg in middle school and high school I used to write in my favorite books like “OMG” during a crazy moment. But then I got lame and was like “I shouldn’t write in books” and WHY DID I THINK THAT. Worth it for the mems

I’ve been making homemade pumpkin chai tea and all I do is add pumpkin purée to my milk before frothing it and adding that to the chai concentrate, and it’s perfect! No syrups needed :)

Hey Tara, just want to make sure you read all the bonus epilogues for the Knockemout series. I didn’t realize they existed until after the 2nd book so I had to go back, but all 3 books have them. So cute to see even further in the future where all the characters ended up.

You’re not crazy! I have a kindle, but all of the books that have stolen a piece of my heart, I get a physical copy of them. Also I’ve been obsessed with “blind date with a book” they’re all over tik tok and Etsy, you tell them the genre you want and they pick a book for you, wrap it up all cute, and ship it. It gets me out of my “book comfort zone” and opens up a world of new authors. I’m obsessed!
I live 5 mins from this Trader Joe’s and target and went there hours after you!!! So glad you hit the jackpot for cute decor! Also I hand knit hats and would love to send you one for the fall/winter season!

you should make homemade blueberry-lavender syrup for matches!
Buy food grade English lavender petals & steep in simple syrup (or better yet, get your own plant growing!). Super easy & super delish!
I haven't try adding blueberries yet, but I imagine you could just add frozen blueberries & sieve before putting in the fridge.
I say yes to the book nook! Check around local thrift stores and you can normally find some good books for super cheap!

Book nook is a cool idea!! AND then you should read the Sarah J Maas books starting with "A Court of Throne and Roses" series!!! It is so AMAZING!!
Also I think you should purchase a small deep freezer for all of those items you could stock up when you go to Trader Joes!

If you are a costco member, there are dumpling soups there, same kind like the traders joe but in bulk. Comes with the sauce too lol

Buying the physical books is not as wacky a lot of people do this I have joined so many book groups on fb and it’s crazy people have different kindles for like the purse, the bathroom, their car! So many places that to me is insane 😂 but also fun. Buying the physical books not that crazy I think a book nook would be so cute with little cute fairy lights a comfy spot to lay and read I’m already imagining it❤️❤️❤️❤️
I read exclusively kindle/ebooks. But I buy my 4/5 star reads in physical copies to have on my shelf & always have in case I want to go back in person!!

I elevate my soup dumplings with some soy sauce, chili onion crunch (of course), a dash of toasted sesame oil, sriracha, green onion, cilantro 🤤 it's fantastic and nice to have that fresh element from the green onion and cilantro. Divine 😋
