    A more interesting question is: could you re-package that adaptor into a PVC wall box?

      yeah - so long as it doesn't overheat ..
      I generally dislike having power supplies screwed into walls ... if anything does go bad it makes dealing with it a lot more fun 🔥

      @@Darieee understood and agree. However, a well-designed, air-cooled unit that could fit in no more than one-half of a 4 gang wall box would be an absolute killer.

      I guess it could be useful but ... it would probably also be a house's only switch-mode power supply screwed into a wall 🥶

    Unexpectedly complex. Think it runs Linux? Looks huge enough

      not completely unlikely - although - it also seems custom enough to be perhaps more hardware-centric
      nowadays they seem to have the same 3 LED layout layout, so, I wouldn't be too surprised if MARVELL cornered this entire market
