Gravity MTB's Inaugural Women's Only Race & Camp || Mount Washington, BC

GRAVITY MTB teamed up with Mt. Washington Bike Park, Nobl Wheels and guest coach Jo Peters from the Sea to Sky corridor to offer a lift-accessed “Ladies Only” weekend at Vancouver Island’s mountain bike destination resort!
This clinic was designed with both beginner and experienced female mountain bikers in mind. It provided a fantastic opportunity to enhance skills while relishing the excitement of biking in a dedicated park setting. The clinic primarily concentrated on the approachable Green and entry-level Blue trails, aiming to impart fundamental techniques such as mastering body positioning, navigating corners smoothly, effective braking and accelerating, selecting the best lines, practicing trail maneuvers, handling drops, getting an introduction to jumps, and understanding Bike Park etiquette and safety protocols.
Across the weekend, participants enjoyed top-tier guidance from PMBIA-certified female coaches against the backdrop of breathtaking views, all within a relaxed and welcoming environment. The camaraderie shared with fellow riders, combined with the enjoyment of riding on flowing trails, added up to an unforgettable and truly remarkable experience!
