Stunning Video!
We met the same pack in Khutse last year, trying to take down a sick lioness at the waterhole. It was very interesting to see how they were growling and stalking the lioness. She was very ill and constantly were in the water and drinking a lot! This carried on for most of the day, and in the end the scrawny lioness struggled to walk to nearby trees where she found refuge for the night. We did not find her the next morning and we had to leave and come back home.
It was awesome watching these painted dogs trying their lick with the lioness.
We also found the little painted dogs nearby as they were playing and watching their parents antics with the lioness
Possible the best wild dog sighting for us!

Yes, they seemed fine after a few minutes when they were trotting off after the encounter.
