Wow! It is very helpful explanation indeed. After seeing this video i got some idea that this is how kanaku works out for aditala. Thankyou so much Mam 🙏🙏
Namaskarams, I was looking for something like this and found your video. Excellent clarity in explanation. Looking forward to more such videos. Thank you
very kind to demonstrate with clarity. Could you go further to explain how the kuraipu done and kanta kuraipu or misra kuraipu and more how do they are done
I'm sorry I'm not able to help you in this since I don't play any instrument. I will shortly be presenting some videos by instrumentalists, maybe they will be able to tell you.
Thank you. Very informative. I understand that the swaras fall into a cycle of 32 followed by Vatapi ganapathim. So Vatapi... is the landing and does not have to fit into the 32 beat cycle? Am I correct in my understanding Madam?
The thala is 32 beats. Inflexible. Your landing point can be anywhere but the cycle from start to finish ( from and to the landing point) will necessarily be 32 since the thala is Adi
Normally there is somebody to demonstrate the thala. Of course, for some, the thala is in the head itself, but generally the artistes help each other on stage, or somebody will be there for the thala count
Your attire and accessories made me think a Punjabi woman was teaching Carnatic music lol. Just imagine if this were actually true how wonderful it would be and our regional differences would cease to exist?
