Swara kalpana rendering, learning and doing practice is like home work very beautiful ....! And teaching also very dedicated ....! Please do continue videos ....!
Amazing .... looking forward for some more candid videos like this. Learning students can easily understand how beautiful it is to play with the swaras being in with raga and tala.
It's very amazing 🕉️like the fundamental basis technique has been explained very clearly through the Talam which is a must that every one from beginners should follow while practicing the kalpana swaram 🙏
This is so incredibly beautiful! Being born in the united states is a bit sad because we lack the history and culture that other countries have. Though this is fundamental or basic to many people, my "american ear" is enchanted by the intricacy and beauty of this practice. Thank you for posting this for all to enjoy and learn from! ( :
Thank you very much for your very kind words. This is a form of Indian classical music, Carnatic to be precise, that is believed to be over 3000 years old. Its origin is said to be in the Sama vedas (there are 4 vedas), and I find this intriguing as well. And, this is an advanced improvisation technique and requires at least 10 years of training to be able to get to this stage to seamlessly spawn notes on the spot. I reside in the United States and this is a beautiful country. There is respect for true talent and the US is a land of opportunities. Anyone can pursue anything at any age, and I am who I am because this country embraced me and I could find ways and means to pursue my passion. Best wishes to you.
Ma'am,This video is very help to me,Please upload the kalpana swaras in small pattern also,as it will be easy for the beginners to understand and also in other well known ragas.
Excellent video . Very helpful for students to practice manodharma . Just a small suggestion both students are pronouncing " Thulasi ' with English accent .They are pronouncing like La for " Lathangi ' . They have to copy Priti's pronunciation . I totally understand it may be difficult for US born kids. hats off to you Priti . Keep adding more videos
Thank you for your constructive and positive feedback. We are in pursuit of excellence and these kids are learning language skills now and have improved significantly in their journey in the last year. Shruthi, my daughter, is in fact learning Telugu (she is fluent in Tamil) to understand the language better and sing with more awareness. We will continue to work towards excellence and try our best to achieve reasonable level of perfection. Sitting on this side of the globe, there are challenges, but we are all passionate about Indian arts and culture. The nextgen Indian origin kids are even more intrigued by India and its heritage, the more they learn about India and their roots.
