Zay flowers stayed 4 to finish his degree at BC, it was important to his family and him. I don’t knock him for it
Mason, need a more in depth TE video! You said the class is very weak, but I think one of the strengths of this class is the TE group. Something’s got to give!
If you look closer at Zay Flowers’ senior season, it is the REASON he will be a first round pick instead of a mid 2nd. Zay has always been a quick cutter, but his 4th year proved himself as a 3 level route runner. Without that, I’m not sure we are considering him a top 8 pick in this rookie draft.
Here before people don’t understand the sarcasm about Bijan lol
Who is Bijan?
Wanted to keep him under the radar, but couldn't hide that potential gem for yall
The Texas A&M and TCU players decision making abilities crack me up every time 😂
🤟🏻
@@Dynastyflock the goat replies😎
How’s that going for UT? 😂
Hendon Hooker may be the biggest sleeper in this year's rookie drafts, especially in superflex
Bro. I’m in a super flex and he is my sleeper pick in the 2nd
QJ should have a massive catch radius, and right now it's about the size of his torso. He needs to get more consistent with his hands.
Great way to describe him. My man literally plays with a negative catch radius because he catches every pass with his body.
Love the bijan Robinson bit😂
Thanks brotha
ITS HERE....we're two weeks away....
which one is it?
The change in stock of Sean tucker is CRAZY
Please just give my guy draft capital
There is word he might not even pass the physical
@@lawrencebrauchart4219 i highly doubt it. Mans is a trackstar 😂
And I'm happy for it. I'll get him in the 2nd round of my draft if everyone keeps hating on him. I have 1.01 and 2.07.... Bijan and Sean Tucker would be great for me
I hear A&M slander, I subscribe!
Have the 1.01, 1.02 and 1.05. Thinking about using the 1.02 on JSN and waiting for QB at 5. I know the person in my league with the 1.03 is taking stroud. What should i do
Actually not a bad strategy if you want the wr 1 in the class. But I always draft for value.
Izzy is the guy I’m trying to get later on. I’m a believer.
💯
Mason, love the videos. Just was wondering if my login/subscription for flock locals transfers to flock fantasy? Thanks
I like Rosco (15:35) bumped up from F to E and Izzy (22:36) from G to F. 📈💪
Looking back… these weren’t that great. I know grading prospects is not a science, but to miss pretty hard on several leaves me to wonder if 2024 should be trusted.
Solid video 🐐
Thanks my man!
hey man question bout the WRs: you had in last years wr rankings "contested catch%" in order to rule out the nkeal harrys (
Your building steam with each video Mason for me in 2023. 👩🍳
Kincaid is a better option than Mayer and will get drafted first
Not as complete of a te but ff wise probably better chance at top 4 te
Mayer is more polished at the position and can block. Kincaid literally only been playing football for like 5 years… NFL values TEs more that can block, not just another receiving weapon.
I think 1 glaring mistake in your rankings is D. Washington. Hes highly regarded as a blocker and very raw as a receiver. Think Mercedes Lewis
And Jabari Smith Jr was -18000 to go 1 overall 2 minutes before the NBA draft
I think JSN should be A tier
1.01, 1.09, 1.10, 2.01 my team is trash im stressing about this draft lol
Superflex having 3 top 10 picks is 🔥
Package 1.09 + 1.10, or some combo with the 2.01, and get as high as you can. Top 6 preferably.
@@bay0udoteth that is exactly what I’m trying to pull off
I would want at least 4 or 5. 6 wouldn’t be high enough for me to move all of those picks
depends on the draft but i think Tillman could be a sneaky prospect, pretty much the best X receiver in the class since QJ doesnt really play like one (other than for his physicals)
Excited to see landing spot!
is this based on 2 QBs, because in one QB leagues you have to at minimum, swap tiers 2 & 3.
Why are u putting the RBs below the TEs? Fast forward 1 year and which would you rather have? TE breakouts take years, if ever. I can't just take up space on my bench, however RBs you'll know immediately next year.
Maycen, why is Israel ibanikanda so low? His stats check a ton of boxes
Mason, every time you bring up Hyatt it’s all negative so why is he so high up?
Mason ina 12ppl dynasty SF i traded jsn, AJ Dillon and Kirk cousins for Herbert, this is a no brainier right?
Hey mason love the content! Heard you mention flock dynasty leagues in an earlier live stream, how do I join one of these dynasty leagues?
Can't guarantee there will be a spot open for anyone soon. Generally they are in the flock discord.
Quinton Johnston RED FLAGS - Body Catches, which leads to extremely poor contested catch rate. Especially for how big he is. He could be a bust if he cant catch with his hands at the next level.
Thoughts on Kendre Miller?
The film is so good! Why no hype? 😢
Hey mason id be curious if you'd look into instances where staying that extra year can rarely be a good thing. My example would be Zach charbonnet. He appeared to improve significantly in a lot of areas like pass blocking and receiving.
Is it possible that on rare occasion we should look more closely at separate instances of declare choices and discuss it not being a con to a profile?
I think it’s also important to note he was at Michigan during the 2020 season. They hardly played any games because of COVID. I feel like this draft class has a lot of late declares because of that season
I’m shipping the 2023 1.03. I want the 2023 1.07 and a late 2024 1st. He thinks that’s too much. Who is right? He wants my 2024 2nd in addition.
10 team SF ppr, I won the championship last season. I just traded away Henry and James Cook for a 24 first and second and the 23 3.10. One guy has 7 of the 10 2024 firsts, and this trade gives me 2 of them.
Looks like next offseason you'll get almost anything you want for that 1st
I have picks 1.2 1.5 2.2 and 2.4 12 team 1QB who you going at each pick lemme hear it, and are you trading any picks?
Need RB/WR/TE
At 1.02 if you have Watson herbert mac Jones and no one wants to move up do you just go qb? Would like to move back but they are basically daring me to take a qb. 12 team sf full ppr
I would
where would you rank tank bell, thought he'd be at least top 24
Hot take BUUUUUUT, y’all should really think about Bijan as your guy.
There are some rumors about Hooker sneaking into the back half of the first. If that does happen do you move him up your rankings at all?
Hell yeah. If he goes round 1 I move him up to 12 minimum
@@Dynastyflock he is actually already my 12 in early rookies because I anticipate him getting 2nd round cap ay the minimum
You said they were looking at JSN as a Chase level prospect then he didn’t play his junior year…. Like Chase? 😂
Where does Trey Lance fit into this? Like the 1.04-1.06?
Are there Draft prop bets anywhere?
Mason In a 12 team league I have the 1.10 2.1 2.8 2.9 2.10. I need both RBs and WRs looking to go 3/2 whichever way with my 5 picks. Should I target RBs with my first 2 picks or always go best available no matter what?
BPA generally. Of course feel free to use need as a tiebreaker
@@Dynastyflock thank you!
Were you more excited about this 2023 rookie class a year ago? I have the 1.06 and 1.08 in a 10 man non super flex league w/ burrow as my qb1. Wrs are g. Wilson, amari, godwin, Aiyuk, Lockett, diontae. Rbs are Henry, etienne, rachaad white, Jeff Wilson, and mostert. Any advice?? I’m stuck
You could use another high end WR and a little more rb depth. So when draft day comes I would try to figure out qhat RBs you want that you could get in the 1.06 to 1.08 range. And if you can get one you like at 1.08 then trade your 1.06 plus Aiyuk for an olave or diggs caliber wr
Unless you could package 1.06 and 1.08 for pick 1.02 to get JSN but with Henry your obviously in win now. If you feel otherwise I'd trade Henry immediately
Depending how many you start you can package to tier up
K. Miller didn't make this list? Ffffffffffffffffffffff
This draft class is still affected by covid quarantine rules. Them being older when declaring is an outlier situation, they aren't outliers to succeed afterwards because there isnt any significant data on this. Dont overthink older prospects this year unless you can see why its an issue with them (hendon hooker) or they had no production until last year.
Using the late declare as a knock on zay flowers is overthinking/misreading a data trend. Its incorrect analysis.
I only don’t like the draft capital argument for AR and Levis because it doesn’t mean they’ll work. 2021 is the most comparable recent class, and to just take the highly QBs over the top end skill position guys would have hurt in the long run. TLaw should kill it, but Fields, yes still crazy upside but he’s not guaranteed a job next season despite the DC. Wilson is done. Lance still has the upside but we just have no idea, and the path is murky at best. Mac Jones is meh but he has slightly lower DC. If you passed on skill position guys like Chase, Pitts, Najee, Waddle, Smith, ETN, Javonte for anyone but TLaw (who is just a different level prospect) and maybe fields, you’re kicking yourself right now
Yup never a guarantee that the QB is actually good. Just guarantees the QB will get multiple seasons starting.
Hindsight 20/20 obviously, but long story short I think it’s fair to kick a lot riskier and raw QBs down the board a little bit in rookie drafts in favor of the more “sure thing” skill position guys.
@@jcmphreek the draft capital argument mason usually uses is not just for 1st round like you are using it, its specifically for overall top 3 draft picks and sometimes by a slight extension to top 5.
Fields was 11. That's not security. 11 is jack ****. Think about what 49ers did. They paid pick 12 and then TWO more 1sts on top of that just to get to 3. That's how disparate the values are between 11 and 3. In fact, Fields having no security at 11 has been used against Fields by Mason, who is known to be an anti-fields truther since the dawn of time. If Fields didn't pop off last year the bears would be taking Young/Stroud this draft no question.
The opposite is true with lance. Lance has started 4 games in 2 years. He STILL somehow has a shot for the starting job and if Brock Purdy didn't pop up and win 7 straight he would have had an unequivocal hold on the qb room. That's an insane amount of security even if the path is murky. You put a 15 pick investment like Mac Jones in the same situation, there's no murky he's just done.
Yes Zach Wilson is an outlier and basically the only one for the last 10 years of a qb getting top 3 draft capital and not being able to be starting at least for 3 years. Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold, Goff, Carson Wentz all still get or got more than a fair number of shots even though they're not good in fantasy in part because of perception which is effected by their draft pedigree.
That is all to say that the draft capital argument works because even though you can't predict career trajectory, you can definitely can consistently predict job security of seasons starting. They might be risky or raw sure, but isn't having 3-4 seasons locked as an nfl starter exactly what you want for a raw prospect to become a seasoned vet?
And you're nitpicking classes by selecting 2021, where the skill positions are so strong and the qbs have massively underperformed expectations. That's not something you can predict to be true from year to year.
That being said even though I just ranted at you I do actually generally agree with you. QBs are just that valued in superflex by the community so I do have to take the highest value at those picks b/c otherwise you're leaving money on the table by ignoring market supply and demand, but those kind of draft years the mid 1st round picks become more valuable to me than consensus so I'm willing to slightly overpay to trade for those picks.
I would agree with you but I don’t think this draft has as good skill position players as that draft.
Like Chase, Waddle Devonta, Bateman is way better coming out than JSN, Johnston, Addison, Flowers.
Najee, ETN, Javonte way better coming out than Gibbs, Charbo, ?
Not that the skill players are terrible they just aren’t comparable
@@Dislight I definitely agree with a lot of that actually. It varies from league to league a bit I guess too. My main league is a 10 teamer which would definitely devalue the QB slightly considering we’re only starting 20 instead of 24 QBs across all teams. Not crazy different, but in my opinion still enough of a difference to rationalize taking JSN/Gibbs right behind the top 2 guys and above AR and Levis. Also true that was also an insane year for skill guys. Definitely not an apples to apples comparison to this year but I think at least considering JSN and Gibbs in the same tier as those rookies is fair. Johnston on down definitely a step down from that season though
Would you trade CMC for the 1.01 in dynasty this year. Had the option last year but didnt think breece hall was worth it
If I had CMC I would send that trade out and see if it happens. 1.01 is definitely more valuable then CMC so the 1.01 manager should ask for more
Hell yeah. Go get Bijan p
Have the 1.02 and 1.05 and I’m considering reaching down for JSN at 2 to then pick the remaining QB at 5.
Is this valid?
Or should I go QB at 2, and if 3 or 4 reach down to JSN, just be glad to get another QB at 5?
i say jsn and the qb since there are multiple good qbs and you’ll get a good one no matter what which might not be said the same about wrs
I’m in the exact same scenario and wondering the same thing. We should know that answer better after the NFL draft.
I like the idea, to me the biggest question is what kinda league are you in and who are your current QBs?
@@TheBlank8234 12 team SF, start9.
I’ve got Mahomes. Just traded Murray for 1.09 and next year’s 1st. (Its a passing QB premium, so Lamar, Fields and Murray aren’t worth as much as usual… that also means that A.Richardson may not be as interesting either in this league…)
Full rebuild and I’ve got 7 1st next year, so QB2 is almost assured If I don’t land Caleb
Great vid. Yall need to stagger your livestream times. Otherwise your competing over the same viewers and limiting your metrics.
Jordan Adisson was inured during recent season- wihc is why his stats weren't crazy. Just watching him play- he's better than njigba
I just don’t get the high rankings of Hyatt and Achane, especially when you sound as if you’re trying to talk yourself out of drafting them in those spots. I’d prefer any of those 4 RBs over either of them because the fantasy impact is more probable.
I think 1 or 2 of those backs will jump them. Right now we know what to expect with the draft capital for Hyatt/Achane though
Am I taking crazy pills? Richardson is in a tier of his own as the #2 pick due to Konami code upside. The only way that’s not the case is if Richardson doesn’t get the draft capital.
This is supposed to be a deep RB class. Would teams let them fall further in the draft as a result. Like not taking Charbonnet, Achane or Tank in the 2nd or 3rd, and waiting till the 5th, 6th or 7th to take Tucker, Miller or McBride, or even Gray or Ibrahim?
I mean could draft stock mean less this year?
You'd think so but teams don't just want "a RB", they have their guys. Look at my 49ers reaching on Trey Sermon and Ty Davis-Price on Day 2 🤦♂️
@@Grayth1985 that’s kind of what I mean. A team’s “guy” might be ranked outside of the top 8-10, and they may feel they can wait. Who knows if guys like Pacheco are “guys” though lol
Could you explain why being an early commit matter so much?
Because on a video that could get 100+ comments it's kinda lucky to be the first one. So that can be exciting and it's fun to get excited
No kendre?
Mason, Will Levis is hated because he eats his bananas with the peel still on, and puts mayonnaise in his coffee. Truly subhuman
I honestly thought that was a fake report
Love JSN but he was not better than Wilson and Olave if you look at games where they were on the field together. Going 15 for 347 in the rose bowl certainly isnt a knock but its some pretty good stat padding lol
I hope my leagues are this low on Tucker.
I got the 1.01 pick of my dynasty draft start up and I'm struggling to decide between bijan or Justin Jefferson. What yall think???
JJ easily. His dominance will last longer
1qb I'm assuming
Yeah 1 QB
I am curious if QJ will be a 1st round draft pick. Hes the only one of the top WRs who isnt going to the NFL draft and there had already been talk of him slipping out of the 1st round makes me wonder but i assume he will.
📉
It wouldn't surprise me one bit if only one WR (JSN or possibly Addison) went in the first round.
Dk and late 24 second or Tyreek Hill ? Starting my win now window
Tyreek
I love your content but not having Kendre Miller on this list is embarrassing, I can't wait for him to prove you wrong!!!!
Can throw him in near the end. Very similar to the other day 3 RBs
Miller is my rb4
You gotta be joking right? Anthony Richardson same tier as bryce young. Why is Bryce not SS tier lol dudes the next drew brees
Will Levis = Bill Pants
Re Achane: Man said you chose TAMU over UT so ur bad please STOP. edit: I am a gamecocks fan and hate TAMU and I don't see the negatives
Sleeping on Kincaid and Hooker
Where do you put them?
No Kendre???
Throw him in the "idk" tier. Not a great athlete and doesn't catch passes. Will see if he gets decent capital/landing spot
WAY too low on Tucker and Mims
Gibbs is a A
Boomer....S.....
love your content as always mason but I learned my lesson last time and I don't want to get shadow banned again. lmao.
Malik Willis was trash of trash. He threw 12 interceptions against div 1 aa schools. A rod is way better of a raw prospect. I think Tennessee just took a shot with him being from liberty at that spot. People were worried about Lance coming out at NDSU which played better talent and threw 20tds 1 int
If I thought Richardson was Willis I wouldn't have him at 4
Total bs... First 5 I will predict 0 right...
