Here is today’s update of ‘Chaos in the craft room’. In the middle of the night I made an accordion journal. It seemed great. I liked it. Then I did some decorating and did day 1. It went great. Then I tried to open the journal and somehow I had glued it together. Instead of glue stick, I was being very careful and used art glitter glue. It’s such a great glue that it NEVER falls apart. I ended up having to cut the middle of the journal and redo it. I was laughing and talking to myself. I have ideas for the next 2 pages so I can catch up. Another great video! Hugs, treen 💕💕💕💕🤎🤎🤎🤎
That sounds like something I would do! 😂
Oh no!!!
Something I would do and have done like a page being stuck to the table! Ouch!
For tiny bits of botanicals, etc., I use Tombow Aqua glue around the edges, along with the glue stick. The Tombow has a point that works really well and doesn’t drag along the thin sections. You don’t need much, so the magazine or delicate paper doesn’t crumple or get too wet, as it spreads well. “glitter glue” also has a similar effect.
It is wonderful how our human brain can interpret prompts differently. Makes for a WONDERFUL journal page by page. Greetings from🇨🇦. (Mary)
Beautiful!😍 For the fold prompt, I was reminded of my teen years when we used to write letters and folded them into origami secret envelopes, oh the memories, I did a similar way for this prompt, but rather a regency style letter folding with a wax seal!
I love those ‘circles’ 😊
Lov the huge bindweed which in reality can be invasive but has such lovely flowers and leaves...particularly like the wonky circles, tfs.
It's so funny I never even thought of folding in the sense of paper, I fail as a junk journaler 😂 My brain went directly to fold as in sheep and my page started with a line drawing of sheep from an old Aseop story in my stash... I love your stencil and flowers.
I love how you used the packaging as a stencil. That flower you added is gorgeous!! You have such a beautiful handwriting. That slow stitching made it perfect. Beautiful make for the prompt.
yay! I have been keeping up ... making a patriotic type journal to give to someone.
So creative, love it. Thank you for sharing.

Yay!
Lovely page.
Thanks so much!
Hi! Just found your channel today. I’m really curious about how you store your papers. Would you mind explaining was storage you use? Thanks so much!!
Meg, sometime try gluing a fussy cut's backside by using a foam roller and PVA glue, just a glistening will work and you just go over it once and it doesn't tend to rip off, just an idea
Great idea!!
Looking beautiful!
Thank you!!
I saw someone, can’t remember who, use a blending tool with a sponge on it to dip it into glue and dab it on the back of some thin flowers. She really loved it. She keeps that sponge just for glue. I wonder if she has to wash it each time. Also, I ordered some glue in a sponge in a Tupperware like container. It worked well. I’m not sure why I don’t use it.
Where did your botanical come from ? Love the image
One of my many gardening books!!:)
