The myth that McDonalds is FrankenFood is such a time honored urban legend. Their suppliers are the same farms and food manufacturers that make the food you buy at the grocery store. I was a logistics auditor for one of Mcdonalds largest warehouse suppliers in the early 2000's and their ingredients are supplied by major brands that most people know and trust. McDonalds of course doesn't tell customers they get their beef from xxx or their chicken from xxxx - which causes people to incorrectly assume that McDonalds has specialized secret food labs or other crazy ideas. McDonalds does not make any of their own food.... they assemble the ingredients provided by national producers at the restaurant at the point of sale.
Yea, yea. I like McDonalds, I was just busting on it. I do understand that the food they serve does come from Earth, or at least another Earth-like planet...
They forgot to mention A FEW other things that are also in all of these "Good Earth" foods they are showing here. Sorry showing a muffin and some eggs doesn't mean that the food itself after it is processed and chemically preserved is not full of hundreds of other unhealthy ingredients. Weird ad and it was during that horrible "Food Folks and Fun" slogan phase of 1990.
"Big Mac, heart attack; quarter-pounder, triple-bypass" lyrics from the "SuperSize Me" documentary movie is still what I think of when we drive past the Golden Arches.
Me as a ten-year-old watching this ad at 15 seconds in: “McDonald’s serves spaghetti now?!”
Great great commercial!
So nostalgic

I wish I could! Those are all from a box of old VHS tapes I received. Unfortunately, I have no other sources for them.
McDonald's trying to convince people their food comes from planet Earth...

A really well done Commercial. Can’t say I agree with the message but well executed.
It makes you wish the food tasted the way it still did in the 80s.
I think this is where the Burger World song came from.
Purple approves!
