I totally agree with minimal toys. My daughter is 17yrs old, but when she was young I didn't have tons of toys. The biggest differences I noticed was she seems to have a greater appreciation for her things, she took care of what she had and a bigger attention span. Kids seem to bounce back and forth a lot and easily become bored. She could play for hours with a few toys bc there were no other choices. If she seemed to be collecting a lot of anything (one time it was purses) I made her purge something else in order to replace it. This taught her the value of her belongings while teaching her responsibility for her choices.

I'm 60 years old and love watching the way all of you young ladies clean. I wish you had been my friends when I was younger. Watching both your videos today motivated me to lug out my old Sears canister vacuum and vacuum my whole house. Every time I vacuum I remember why I hate it. Dragging the vacuum behind me, having it bang into furniture, walls and doorways. That's why I only vacuum once a month and sweep the rest of the time. I'm exhausted!! Time for some water. Keep up the good work ladies!!
for the hard water on the fridge water dispenser I use CLR and it work wonders you can find it in Walmart or in lowes,home depot
The struggle is real when it comes to toys! This years goals aren’t to limit on how much we buy. I decluttered before Christmas and just decluttered this past weekend!

always vinegar for hard water! (if you have hard water stuck on your shower heads, pour some vinegar in a plastic bag and tie it around the shower head with a rubber band!!)
Your cleaning videos give me so much inspiration. Every Monday is my house cleaning day and always have your videos playing while i clean.
I always use white vinegar and baking soda for hard water stains and it works really well for me.
I admire you so much! I’m a bit of an oddity! I’m the cleaner/homemaker and my wife is the breadwinner!

2018 was a hard year so decluttering my life is my goal this year. I have come to love watching cleaning videos it helps motivate me. Its weird but I feel at peace watching them. And I have always been the type to have a hard time letting go of stuff. But I started in my kitchen and after i was done it felt so amazing.
You inspired me to try and declutter some of our house!

When I first started to declutter, I was at loss at where to begin. So what I did was to start the one bag a day. Just fill one shopping type bag to bin, donate or give away. After a few days I began to see which part needed work. My bedroom seems to be the catch all for everything, once that room was dealt with it became so much easier to tackle other rooms - notably kitchen and children’s bedrooms. I stay on top now by sticking to the one bag a week. It’s amazing the amount of clutter that emerges from the woodwork!! Lovely bedroom you have and gorgeous cats!!

When do you decide when its time to pull out the roomba vs the handheld?
I usually use the roomba if we are running short on time, or leaving the house. And lots of times I will tidy upstairs and let the roomba clean it while I vacuum the downstairs. I used to use our roomba every day in our old house, but with the high ceilings and wood floors we don’t use it on the main floor much if we are home bc it’s noisy (because it echos) but if you have lots of carpet it’s not too loud 😘
I had to laugh for a second when you said the boys bathroom toilet area would be better when they got older. My 16 year olds toilet area is still DISGUSTING every day. I had to put disinfect wipes on the back of the toilet and make him clean it every day, or it would be overwhelming. I love your channel, it reminds me of what my life was like all those years ago. My kids are 15, 16, and 20 now and I do miss them being little! Keep up the good work!!

That was indeed funny. My son became an adult and realized it was necessary to keep the bathroom clean,especially after he shaves and cuts his hair.
I recently started making my bed every morning since you recommended it, and it is now an essential in my morning routine!! So much nicer coming home after a long day of work to a nice clean and made bed!

I ran across your channel in on of my darkest times in my life. I was in a deep state of depression barely able to function. But as I sat and watched video after video of you cleaning it sparked something in me. It truly gave me motivation that I haven't seen in a really long time but it was just what I needed. I got a chance to change all of my chemical based cleaning products to more natural and turn my home to a zen place to be with my diffuser and essential oils. I truly thank you for the amazing and beautiful content. You never know the impact you can have on someone's life until they just open themselves up to Express it. You Rock ❤

Amanda, White Vinegar is amazing for hard water issues. Pour some in the drip tray, let it sit for a bit. Then brush off buildup with a toothbrush. 😊
For the hard water try bar keepers friend. I use the powder and form like a paste and scrub that in a leave it for a minute then wipe it. I have even used the toilet bowl cleaning gel for other areas of it’s a new container.
I’ve been wanting a cordless dyson for a while now. Especially now that I fell and broke my ankle. Using a corded vacuum has been a real challenge since I’m constantly getting tangled up in the cord. Thank you for the cleaning motivation ❤️

I'm so happy I found your channel! I've been subscribed to Myka for a while but I just stumbled across your videos today. I've always wanted a Dyson vacuum and you make it look so easy to use. My husband and I had to abruptly move from GA to find better health care for my youngest daughter with Cerebral Palsy and we have been living in a camper in NC with my three children ages 2, 3, and 4😲 and our 65 lb double doodle for the past five months, but thankfully we are about to move into our forever home! Even if we don't win a vacuum we would love to be able to purchase a Dyson one day because anything to make my life a little easier with three little kids would be awesome! For the water dispenser tray I use 1/2 white vinegar & 1/2 water, I put that in a spray bottle and spray it let it sit for about 10 minutes then wipe off. You might have to do it 2 times. Works awesome on shower door water spots too 🙂
