It's terrible that RUclips is acting up and not notifying some people. Whichever video you do next is fine with me. I honestly can't decide. I watch all your videos anyway. Lol. I'm back home. So I will start from the beginning again. Ans btw, your cabinets look great as is. It doesn't look like too much stuff.
This Crazy Life Today is my day off. After watching this yesterday I decluttered my kitchen, super cleaned and organized! Thank you for the inspiration and motivation
Decluttering is so liberating! I have been in a purging mood-going from room to room and getting rid of all the junk. I think it decreases my anxiety and afterwards I feel proud of the work I've done. It has made spaces like my kitchen and bathroom much more functional.
I would definitely recommend going through your items a second time 1 or 2 weeks later. I purged a lot of clothing recently that either didn't fit or spark joy. I went through it a second time a couple of weeks later and still managed to get another 4 bags of clothing gone that the second time round didn't spark joy or decided that I didn't need. I loved this video 😍, the kitchen is next in my list to tackle, I'm currently decluttering and decorating my 11 year old daughter's bedroom and It's taking a little longer than i hoped it would 😄
I agree when you said taking everything out is overwhelming. For my anxiety forget it. Breaking it up always helps me big time. It does feel so great when everything is minimal and you only keep what you use. I love that feeling.
I feel the same way!! When we have less things, keeping them organized and under control is so much easier. I’ve been tearing our house apart decluttering and just getting rid of the unnecessary stuff. Loved this! Super motivating and got some great ideas!
I’ve moved 6 times since 2014 and have tried to narrow my things down because I’ll be moving a few more times in the next 3-4 years too. I took a semester off school and I organized a LOT over Christmas but now I’m seeing more I can do. This video came at the perfect time! I want to really make my space make sense. I have gotten rid of a ton so I don’t think I’ll have to get rid of much more. But I’m living out of plastic storage boxes and I want to know everything is in a place. So ready to organize!!!
🥰 I tell myself & my family if you haven’t used or worn it in 6 - 12+ months get rid of it. So neat to see how much you’re able to get rid of & the feeling it brings.
Love this! Just did the KonMari method throughout my own house the past few weeks and it feels sooooo good!! Donating items that we don’t use and helping others while simplifying my home and really appreciating what we have. I hope it gives you the same feeling!
I so agree with the Tupperware and random lid issue. One thing I have found helpful is nesting the smaller containers in the bigger ones, with their lids. Saves so much space and keeps everything together! Great job! Looking forward to see how you organize it all!
Storing the food containers with the lids has saved my sanity! I just began doing this 3 weeks ago and already it makes a huge difference in my daily life!
😄I can't wait to see the rest of your decluttering videos and I love the Kon Marie method it's definitely one of my goals too to see what makes me happy and what not!!
Love. I feel so much more calm (like you always say). I have suffered from anxiety for a few years now and i find that when there is so much clutter, it really triggers my anxiety. I’ve worked really hard to keep a cleaning schedule and declutter our home consistently since last summer and i find we are so much happier and my anxiety is triggered way less often we when have a nice clean space to live!
Me too Jessica! Anxiety hit me out of the blue. Now that it is in check de cluttering feels awesome! I do things a bit at a time too so I don’t feel overwhelmed! You are right though less clutter less stress!
i an only 18 but love love love your videos i always watch them! watching your videos always puts me in the cleaning mood a couple of weeks ago i went though our kitchen, linen cupboard, garage, and office and it felt soo good and i hope you feel the same peace and clarity i felt when i went through everything
I lov to declutter. It makes u feel so much better . people laughs at me when I tell them that I only have two potholders. But it does make things easier to clean and helps keep your house cleaner
I want to see you declutter your pantry. I did my kitchen and bath. Pantry is next for me. Followed by daughters closet and my closet. I am doing this with you!!! Cant wait to see more in this series. Decluttering makes me feel like my house is becoming a home again and not just extra storage for junk!!!
@@ThisCrazyLife yes! I have been waiting and watching sooo many videos for ideas. I live in a 1970s house and the pantry is cabinets and they are deep. I am thinking I am going to change to an open pantry concept and store extra kitchen stuff on the cabinet shelves. This weekend I am scheduled to do it, but you know how that goes so we will see if it happens. You are doing great things. Keep it up! Love your little sweet family!
Great job! I began really decluttering a couple of years ago and it has been wonderful! I feel like as I decluttered my physical things, it carried over to other areas of my life. Decluttering never really ends though. And the more I get rid of, the more I want to get rid of. We did another big purge last year as we were moving, and now currently temporarily in an apartment most of our things are still in boxes but as we prepare to move into our new home I am going to go through again to be sure we aren't taking anything unnecessary into our new home. I am so excited to be able to organize again! 😊
This just gave me major motivation to clean and organize. I've been neglecting my dishes because that is my least favorite chore. But I'm motivated now to clean and organize my kitchen.
I definitely think that is better if you take everything out, it’s overwhelming but it’s better to see everything that you have. It’s an eye opening and it makes it easy to organize. Good luck every one. I finish organizing everything it’s stressful but it feels so good once your done!!!
I’m a teacher, so I have waited until summer to tackle this. I am in the process of decluttering everything! I have started in our bedroom and helped the kids with theirs. We have been in this house for almost 20 years! You get help decluttering if you have a move or two, but when you just keep living in the same place then you just keep packing it in.🙄 Every room needs to be done. We would like to move in the next 3 years or so, and we hope downsizing all of our things will make that process easier as well. We are doing it both taking everything out and going just cabinet by cabinet.
Good luck! You got this🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 I totally feel like moving every couple years has helped us with clutter, you don’t realize how much you have until you have to go through it all🙈 and life happens and unless you’re forced to go through it, so it just accumulates ... but it will feel amazing when everything is decluttered💕
Yes!!!!!!! You nailed it. I've said that for a few years and it makes sense. Every thing you have in your home has to be dusted or cleaned or have maintenance. Once I understood that, things became much easier to declutter. Also, I'm with you, I can't take everything out like Kondo suggests. Like I kind of get it, but it seems overwhelming. Thanks for taking the time to do this. Cleaning every cabinet in my kitchen seems overwhelming but you are helping me go for it!
This has to be one of my favorite videos of yours! You are spot on about how much, beyond money, it costs to own so much stuff! I can't wait to see part two.
We have moved 2 times in 15 months, rented out our home of 27 years and bought another home 30 miles away to be near family and the lake. Well, just did not feel comfortable in that situation so we are selling the new home and moved back "home" to our beloved older one. Point is that we have gotten rid of old and new stuff (furniture, dishes, decor items, clothes,, e tc) that it feels so much freer and we feel so much less stress. You are so right in saying the money has already gone and I honestly don't remember what we gave away. Boxes and boxes of stuff and 2 utility trailers of unused things left us and much to my joy. We were not hoarders but for 2 people it was just too much. You are so smart to clear as you go my friend - great vlog!!!! Warm hugs!!
Aww I love that! And I love that you’ve found a blessing in the stresses of moving twice 💕 I miss doing that when we used to move all the time for the military! And isn’t it amazing that as you get rid of things you think you need... you can’t remember what any of it was 😂
we declutter our junk drawers and basically all the things that collect miscellaneous things the first of every month so we can keep up with it... also this motivated me so much! we just moved about a week ago so getting rid of a lot of things during the move felt so refreshing
This is so motivating!!! I need to do this to our whole house. I also agree that the Kon-Mari method of taking everything out from everywhere at one time is really overwhelming. I like how you went cabinet by cabinet. That seems much more manageable! Thanks!
My tip for the tools is to keep a small toolbox in the house with just those things that you would most likely need for little projects around the house. That way it's not such a project to go all the way out to the garage when it's time to get them or put them away. Great work so far! 😊
I did this recently and it took me so long to just do where the plates and cups go. Definitely gave me motivation to get more done in the kitchen can’t wait to see all the decluttering. I would love to see a bathroom declutter.
I’ve enjoyed watching your videos. Thank you for encouraging and motivating us all to clear and clean and feel so much more relaxed thereafter. Hubby and I have completed most of Kon Mari in our home. We did the method where we took all of our things out of our kitchen to clear. Ayyya! I mean it’s been worth it but took us more like two weeks to complete due to life schedule. Other than the initial phases of Kon Mari, I do love the results. I’m not an organized person by nature. And I’m convinced these results bring me less stress and struggle in the long run.
You have so much storage! I'm jealous. Lol. I love my Corelle! Don't you just love the simplicity of it. It makes unloading the dishwasher a dream. Looks great! Thanks for sharing!
Yes! We love the Corelle dishes too! So nice & lightweight and durable! 💕 and it’s nice to have some storage space in our home now. We have lived in homes before with like zero storage, so since this is our forever home I’m so grateful for the storage! Have a sweet day girl!
SO helpful & I agreed doing it one cabinet at a time otherwise it is so stressful! - I am obsessed with decluttering at the moment! it gives me so much joy to know that everything I have actually has a purpose! XO
Love this!! I’ve only gone through my glasses & mug cabinet but I swear I could breathe easier 😀 I’ve been divorced for four years & only recently realized how many things (in general) I’ve held on to that I hated but just never realized how much freedom there is in letting go of them!
Thank you for this declutter motivation. The amount of space I have in my kitchen now is unbelievable. I'm honestly surprised at how much I had that I don't use.
Oh wow! Good job! I’m going through our house slowly as well! In bathrooms, I go ahead and have a 30 gallon trash bag and as I pull out what I’m getting rid of, it goes straight in the bag. That way I don’t go back to it questioning myself. I do this with clothes too. I already have a box or basket for donation and immediately put in so I don’t go back.
So I have always decluttered in this way! Before Marie Kondo made it cool. I should have written a book! Lol. I’m with you though, I prefer to do one cabinet at a time or one area at a time. I just went through my daughters room and my room. But I didn’t pull everything out and put it on the bed in a pile. I went through one drawer at a time, and I went through the closets one section at a time. We are getting ready to buy a new build home, and I don’t want to move a bunch of stuff if I’m just going to get rid of it later. Really takes the stress out of moving. So I’m sort of doing the same thing, decluttering the house. Getting ready to move and getting this house ready to sell. I’m definitely sharing this video. I like how you worded your thought process. “Is it worth my time,” “The money is gone, make peace with it and move on.” Perfection! Can’t wait to see more! 💖🐘
Hi Amanda! Enjoyed the decluttering video and can’t wait to see part 2! I needed to hear that saying! I recently got rid of clothes that I held on for so long since high school.. you know the saying..“oh I might wear it again for this occasion or down the road” it was such a joy to be organized in the end! Next project is to go through tubberware and lids! Have a great Monday! ❤️
So happy that thought can help you! It’s something I’ve thought for years, and when I put it into action and have the decluttering mindset, it makes the process so much easier! 💕
You are so inspiring! I watched your video a few times and the last time I decided to listen to this video while I did my konmari method in my bedroom. I also I agree with what you said about going back and declutter the same places that was purged. It is intimidating and hard to let go of almost half or more of our things. The second time is always easier!! Thank you so much!!!!! I wouldn’t have done my cleaning without this video!!!
Love this! I could watch organizing videos all day! I’ve been planning on decluttering my kitchen and just need to actually do it. Great point with the finding a solution for the problem rather than making unrealistic goals or rules! Great video and can’t wait to see more!
I just did this yesterday and it was extremely therapeutic. 😄 I LOVE how my kitchen turned out so much I did my bathroom closet today. I found stuff I forgot that I had!
I absolutely adore you and your energy. Im about to move into my first apartment with my boyfriend and your videos make me so excited for the future!! ❤️
This video gave me sooooo much motivation! And also makes me want your drawers and cabinets. I agree I also dont like everything out all at once. One at a time for me.
I’ve recently put all of my items like smoothie stuff in big mason jars. It looks much neater and helps to know exactly how much I have left now. Great job on your kitchen decluttering.
This was so motivating... we get so attached to our “stuff” but when you talk it through “when is the last time I used it?!? And does it REALLY bring me joy?!?” Thanks for showing us your/our real life❤️!
I do the same method too - one drawer/cabinet at a time. These past few wks I got real and honest w/ doing the KonMari and stopped this second guessing. My life feels less stress and the biggest benefit is cleaning has become so much easier b/c you're not dealing w/ excess clutter. My biggest thing I tackled was household accessories/decorations. That was a struggle b/c I knew I spent this certain amount of $$, but I didn't want the hassle of trying to sell b/c then again it's taking up space in my house. I do prefer to give things away if I can to give joy to someone else.
We call our junk draws (yes we have 2 also 😂) odds & ends draws. We purposely keep a few tools in one because it’s handy to just a screw driver when you quickly need one.
I started watching declutter vids on utube. I. Seen yours and I enjoy watchinng. I started doing declutter. Admit I'm addicted to watching. I love your home, showed my son.. And taken your advice on a lot of things from cleaning and storage. I want to get some items from Wal-Mart that you use. I'm following on Insta. And will look on facebook too. Thank you. Keep going girl! Love hearing your voice over. Yes you make sense. I love essential oils. Will look for the ones you mention.
Im so excited to see you do this! I am going to do the kitchen soon! I'd love to see you do the bathroom next! I like working from one cabinet to the next, if its all out its kinda overwhelming!
Great video! I want to do this so much! I did master the Junk Drawer Tool issue, I put a Rubbermaid dish pan in the laundry room and that’s where I drop the tools, tape measures, drill bits..even the drill! Lol! Thanks for the inspiration! ♥️🐾👍🏻
Dawn from the channel Minimal Mom has a terrific tip for your husbands tools. She put a pretty wooden tray( you could also use a shallow basket) on top of her fridge that holds screwdrivers, hammer, measuring tape, etc. It’s pretty, it’s functional and it doesn’t take up valuable drawer or cabinet space. And no more friction from the hubby. Haha!!
I am so glad you started this series! Decluttering our home has been so incredibly satisfying. Way to go girl, you did amazing; can't wait to see the final results!!
I’m super excited for this video! Your videos are always so motivating, and I look forward to every Monday morning! I am the same way, I need to declutter section by section. Taking every single item out in front of me is too overwhelming
Hello y’all! Omg you are doing amazing! Can’t wait to tackle my kitchen... I’ve been putting it on the back burner since I have a baby walking around and she is so into looking at what mommy is doing lol. Your just awesome!
Im not sure if my mom instilled this in me growing up but I've always ben like this.I do not buy anything unless I know I'm going to use it in my everyday routine. I feel like its probably harder when you have kids though! Also YES to the tupperware situation you had going on. I always keep my lids on for that exact reason and I find it to be so much more convenient. Great video as always! I love when you post new videos, it makes my day :)
Loved the video. I too was very familiar with Marie Kondo after reading her book a few years back and watching the Netflix series motivated me to declutter big time. I started in my closet and got rid of lots of items and my goal is to keep things looking organized and hang things up instead of tossing in a pile and waiting.....It’s been almost a month and I am stilll doing well. I went to the extra bedroom and linen closet but still have a little work to do to finish those, need a few more storage containers. I’m glad you did the kitchen cleanup because that was next on my list. I had cleaned a few summers in a row to get rid of unneeded items and now time to re-visit (I work at a school so breaks are good for that.) I wanted to ask you what you did with your cook books did you get rid of a lot of them? I have some I just don’t touch and with everything on line now I want to part with all but basic and a few specialty books. Thoughts? Thanks for motivating me to stay on top of things! I cleaned 2 cupboards while watching! 2 bags of items to donate now! Oh and lunch boxes for my kids when they were little and water bottles, those were my favs! I finally parted with those item a few years back! Memories live on in their old back to school pics!
I liked this video but I would like to see how you declutter/organzie your pantry. I always struggle with the pantry!, looking forward for your next decluttering/organizing videos!
Since finding you this last week, I am hooked! My boyfriend and I are house shopping and you are making me excited to clean my own future home! And to try the Grove!!!
I love your video's! I'm a bit new to all of this and I'm only 20 but I just got my own space and I love to clean it. Especially after watching your videos! So thank you for keeping me motivated 😊
I have heard so much about this method and show lately! I have to definitely check it out on Netflix. I need to declutter my kitchen drawers and cabinets as well.
Hello! I LOVE the “KonMari Method”! I’m doing it also. I Love all ur videos and it inspires me even more! I do the same way ur doing cabinet by cabinet bc it would be too overwhelming with the whole room out. I’d panic and couldn’t t do anything. I also do go back and see if there’s anything else to rid out. I just done 2 of my 3 bathroom closets/cabinets/drawers and I re-organized them 3 times bc the baskets/bins didn’t plz me. Haha but true! Now I Love It! Keep the decluttering and all videos coming... Blessings! 🙏❤️😬👍

💕💕💕 yes! It really does cost us so much more than money
Aww that is so awesome!🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
This is so motivating!!! I need to do this to our whole house. I also agree that the Kon-Mari method of taking everything out from everywhere at one time is really overwhelming. I like how you went cabinet by cabinet. That seems much more manageable! Thanks!
I love the way your attacked the clutter. I agree taking a cabinet at a time was the best way to attack it. I love your videos.
💕💕💕
My tip for the tools is to keep a small toolbox in the house with just those things that you would most likely need for little projects around the house. That way it's not such a project to go all the way out to the garage when it's time to get them or put them away. Great work so far! 😊
That’s a great idea!
I did this recently and it took me so long to just do where the plates and cups go. Definitely gave me motivation to get more done in the kitchen can’t wait to see all the decluttering. I would love to see a bathroom declutter.
I'm watching this while uploading my own video. I love watching these long decluttering videos. Love your channel!
Aww that’s so fun! And thanks girl!! 💕
Aww that’s amazing!!💕💕💕
As you start this month, success shall be yours in all your endeavors. Happy new month ! Welcome to February dear sister ! 😊
Thank you ♥️

You're welcome dear sister ! 😊
I think we are all doing a lot of post Superbowl cleaning today! I also posted a clean with me this morning. I love your decluttering series!
Oh yes! Time to get the house in shape from the weekend for sure!🙌🏼
SO helpful & I agreed doing it one cabinet at a time otherwise it is so stressful! - I am obsessed with decluttering at the moment! it gives me so much joy to know that everything I have actually has a purpose! XO
Yes!! Totally agree girl!!💕
I honestly never thought about using a vacuum to clean out cabinets and drawers. I'll definitely have to try that next time I deep clean my apartment.
Such a game changer!!
Omg I absolutely love this. So so happy you are doing this. You should do your closet next
Love this!! I’ve only gone through my glasses & mug cabinet but I swear I could breathe easier 😀 I’ve been divorced for four years & only recently realized how many things (in general) I’ve held on to that I hated but just never realized how much freedom there is in letting go of them!
So happy you did that and found peace girl💕
Thank you for this declutter motivation. The amount of space I have in my kitchen now is unbelievable. I'm honestly surprised at how much I had that I don't use.
That’s so amazing!! I love the end result 💕
Oh wow!
That’s a great idea!! Love it! 🙌🏼
I love the long cleaning and declutter everything.
Good on you Amanda! I really need to declutter my bedroom! We love you so much too, can't wait for the next video! ❤
💖🐘
💕💕💕 so happy you enjoyed watching girl! And good luck on your upcoming move
Yes!! Amazing what you can get rid of the first time, and even more the second time💕
Omg, can you believe that I just finished decluttering my kitchen? Just in time to sit and open my tablet and here you are
Aww we are in sync! ♥️
Love this! I could watch organizing videos all day! I’ve been planning on decluttering my kitchen and just need to actually do it. Great point with the finding a solution for the problem rather than making unrealistic goals or rules! Great video and can’t wait to see more!
♥️♥️♥️ yes! I used to always make unrealistic new rules, now I embrace reality and make it work better for us💕 can’t wait for lunch next week!
Aww thank you ♥️ and so exciting about moving into your new apartment 🙌🏼
I've been stuck in bed so sick but can't wait to get better to declutter my house lol😂😂 You make everything look so effortless!
YASS girl! Thanks for making 2 parts, worked to carve out the time to watch & pay attn 😉 so glad I did 🙌🏻 Excited for upcoming series!! ❤️
So happy you enjoyed it! And I’m super excited too!!
Great vid ! So motivating! And omg that vacuum so cute how u can use it in your drawers like that ! Love ur channel 🤗🤗
Thanks girl!! And that is actually just my dyson, but without the stick part of it😉
Yes ma'am..I'm with you all the way. I've been decluttering as well. Bring it on Amanda!😁
🥰🥰🥰 love you girl!
This video gave me sooooo much motivation! And also makes me want your drawers and cabinets. I agree I also dont like everything out all at once. One at a time for me.
I love how you're implementing a little plant accent into your dish cupboard...this is genius.
I’ve recently put all of my items like smoothie stuff in big mason jars. It looks much neater and helps to know exactly how much I have left now. Great job on your kitchen decluttering.
I'm so glad you posted this! The kitchen is my next place to tackle/organize!
Yay! It will feel so good to get it decluttered💕
This was so motivating... we get so attached to our “stuff” but when you talk it through “when is the last time I used it?!? And does it REALLY bring me joy?!?” Thanks for showing us your/our real life❤️!
Yes! Completely agree! We need to stand back, and really be honest with ourselves and ask those questions 💕
This was very helpful and needed video for me as we are moving cross country. Looking forward to more decluttering video.
♥️♥️♥️
Yes, I’m on a huge decluttering mode and yes! This video encouraged me to just dig in today and get started 😂🤗😉
You did an amazing job, Amanda please keep inspiring us, we appreciate you so much
Aww thanks so much Brenda💕
😃 now I really want to declutter/organize my kitchen! Too bad its 9pm and I'm ready for bed! I'll have to rewatch this tomorrow and do it! ❤
💕💕💕
Your kitchen turned out great. I like how you sorted and organized but didnt stress too much over what to keep or not keep.
💕💕💕
Im so excited to see you do this! I am going to do the kitchen soon! I'd love to see you do the bathroom next! I like working from one cabinet to the next, if its all out its kinda overwhelming!
Yes girl! One cabinet at a time is so much more calming and peaceful. Way less stressful for sure! 💕 I’m excited to see you do your kitchen!
Haha!!
WOW! That was some serious decluttering and cleaning. I was tired just watching you. Still you motivated me to go do the same thing. TYFS!
I agree with you on doing one space at a time in a room to reduce anxiety and stress♥️
Yes!!
I am so glad you started this series! Decluttering our home has been so incredibly satisfying. Way to go girl, you did amazing; can't wait to see the final results!!
Yes girl! It is so much more calm that way! And I’m so excited for this new series too! 💕💕💕 the end product will be amazing!
Breakfast time and a perfect video 💓 we starting the day good
💕💕💕
Such good motivation. It feels so good to let go! 😍
Yes it does! Loved your video today too girl💕
I’m super excited for this video! Your videos are always so motivating, and I look forward to every Monday morning!
I am the same way, I need to declutter section by section. Taking every single item out in front of me is too overwhelming
Aww I love that you look forward to my videos on Monday mornings 💕 and yes! Totally go section by section 🙌🏼
💕💕💕
I definatley needed the motivation! Thank you! Would love to see declutter and organization of the kids rooms!
That will be coming very soon! Either the next or the following one💕
I am so excited for the series of decluttering videos!!
♥️♥️♥️ me too!!
😍Your kitchen is going to be so much more easier to clean than it is now!
It seriously is so much nicer!!
I got rid of a few Cook books... maybe 1/3... but I want to go back in and see if I can get rid of more. I don’t use many very often
I liked this video but I would like to see how you declutter/organzie your pantry. I always struggle with the pantry!, looking forward for your next decluttering/organizing videos!
Yes! That will be either my next one or the following one 💕
We got moved into our new home so I am busy this morning organizing and putting things away. Soooo glad you posted :)
Yay! Congrats on moving to your new home! ♥️
We are moving into our new house in a few weeks! I needed this motivation to start the de clutter and pack process 🙌🏻 Thank You! 😊
Aww good luck on your move! That’s so exciting!💕
Since finding you this last week, I am hooked! My boyfriend and I are house shopping and you are making me excited to clean my own future home! And to try the Grove!!!
Aww Welcome to the family Katherine💕 and so exciting y’all are buying a new home 🥰
Konmari is all the craze right now! Thanks so much for the cleaning motivation!
I love your video's! I'm a bit new to all of this and I'm only 20 but I just got my own space and I love to clean it. Especially after watching your videos! So thank you for keeping me motivated 😊
I watched your entire video and you gsve me so much motivation, l decluttered my whole kitchen.THANKS SO MUCH!!!
I have heard so much about this method and show lately! I have to definitely check it out on Netflix. I need to declutter my kitchen drawers and cabinets as well.
Omg! Love this video, I have done most of my kitchen and I’m finishing it today. You are one of my four favorite channels to watch your amazing 🦄
Aww thanks so much girl! That means a lot💕💕💕 and yay!! You’re doing amazing!!
Blessings! 🙏❤️😬👍
