I feel like hard resetting particular android phones has become more complicated. Before having the phone on or off, just by pressing the power button and volume up it would automatically show the commands. I was trying to hard reset my daughter's phone the wrong way. My girlfriend's phone is a paperweight. But thanks to this video, we've managed to do the reset.
Problem is, the phone still wants the PIN. It says she can use her Google account, but she doesn't know the password. The phone knows it's been reset; it ain't letting us in.
She's in the hospital; she doesn't have all her notes with all her passwords.
Is there any way? Could she make a new Google account or something? But how would the phone know if she did?

I went to her apartment and located multiple notebooks. One of them had the password, so now her phone is working. I still have no idea what to do without the password.
