- Festival of the lost has once again returned to Destiny 2 for season of the Witch and every time this event comes around I get the same questions. What armor should I buy? Are the old sets worth it? In today's video I aim to answer all of those questions.

I still think that Monster 2.0 would have been the best...
Monster 2.0 was almost there. The reason I didn't vote for it was because of the ugly Titan set but I was tempted because of the amazing hunter armor

@@badollies Here's to hoping that Bungie will give us Monters 2.0 in a future Update/Season because so many of us want the set and they know it
@@MuffinBandit Honestly while the titan set was ugly over all, if you used it piecemeal or just didn't use its legs I still think it was actually good. And warlock was no slouch either imo
But all three gundam sets were bad from the outset
Bungie should let us preview shaders on the armor ornaments since before buying them
No one ever mentions this but the vampire gloves give warlock sharp fingernails that look like claws and that alone is a reason to buy them, the gloves are the only thing you see in first person perspective.
Great video, i was saving up bright dust for exactly this event but i was unsure about which set to get, thank you for the perfect timing!
I should have mentioned. The older sets are usually only sold for silver. But the newer you'll be able to buy with bright dust
@@MuffinBandit You can get the older sets for Bright Dust. Don't know exactly when this change was made, but it's been like that for a while now.

funny thing I noticed with the second set of armour is that hunter's the only one who's glow matches their class colour, titans had yellow(warlocks) and warlocks had red(titans)
I *love* the Chemflesh arms and legs. They’re fantastic for more Mad Max or monstrous looks.
I will never forgive my fellow Warlocks for NOT voting for the arachnid armor set!!!!!!

The warlock super for strand was at one point to be a giante spider

Tbh the beetle one is better than I expected
I use the titan original set and like it a lot, it reminds me of the Iron Man costume created in the cave and of the Tin man from Wizzard of Oz
I'm very tempted to get the first Halloween set. Mostly for the Gauntlets and the mark but it does overall fit into some stuff I've been putting together... I'll still wait for what the community comes up with during this even though, to see if I get inspired by something else o/

I think the masks are what really defines Festival of the lost for me. I hope bungie makes them actually usable outside of the event some day

I would have loved that hunter set but the Titan and the warlock monsters were kinda trash imo. So I had to vote for mech

The weird thing is, I didnt know the hunter cloak (Skaven) was festival of the lost gear, I just always had it and none of the other pieces so I thought it was universal ornament >->

Warlock mecha set is a must have for being a sort of imposter Titan. Pair it with the Titan mask and your Warlock has a perfect Titan Halloween costume. Otherwise I mostly agree other than the new warlock set which is really just kinda average and boring though the attention to detail with the wings is interesting. It’s not bad but it’s just not as exciting and visually interesting as the arachnid set we could’ve had.
I remember last year getting baited by a hunter wearing the shaded helm mask and the ornament for a leg exotic that made them chonky. Went to copy the fit and saw it was a hunter.
The new sets feel like a high c mayyyybeee b at most to me

Even though I voted for dinosaurs in '21 and mechs in '22, I would still have preferred the monsters and monsters-2.0 over 'beetles vs. spiders'. Even if it wasn't "choose which set for each class".
Also, I've seen people with the Technosaurus helmet for a Grimlock armor set.
The community has voted the garbage option EVERY single time.

We just have wildly different ideas about what looks good or not. The armor you pick looks the absolute worst imo. Mf'er is obsessed with fur, but the issue is Bungie's implementation of fur always looks so jank.
Dino warlock set, is S tier imo. The Helm is so unique compared to what’s in game.

I bought the hunter werewolf set and it was worth every penny imo. I hope they bring back the Crown of Sorrow raid so I can get those leg pieces that look like claw feet.
Also, I'd rank the new set as C tier at best because I find it so ugly. If they wanted to go for bugs, they should've made them actually look cool and threatening. You know, give them fangs, pincers, stingers, and maybe have them move to make them look alive.
Have the Hunter look like a wasp with moving fangs, wings, 2 additional legs, and an abdomen with a stinger jutting in and out.
The Titan a spider with 6 additional moving legs and two gnashing pincers on the face, complete with an abdomen that leaves a trail of webs on the ground (cosmetic only).
The Warlock a praying mantis with hook-like barbs on the underside of the forearms and a blade jutting out from the wrists like we've seen on some other gauntlets for other classes, two additional legs, moving mantis mouth, moving antennae, and wings.
Bro I want that crown of sorrow armor so bad. The hunter set is perfection 🤌
I honestly hate the mech armor I feel like it’s a lazy design it’s just big metal plates on basic boxy looking armor monsters would have been much better

Warlocks made a big mistake voting for that boring set, awful.....the bug Warlock would have looked much better....TITAN GETS THE BIG AWARD...looks great.....

Gundam is fkn s tier. Ive been using the lock set all year. The bug set is ffffuch off tier. I hate bugs irl and games. Move to florida where spiders and roaches are the size of your face youll understand.
