There are two layers: Layer 1: The symbols are random each time so you don't know which one means what, but there are always three distinct symbols that will mean either green, yellow, or gray (similar but not quite the same as Wordle). Layer 2: The meaning of green, yellow, and gray are different because it colors it like Wordle, but as if your guess was the answer and the answer was your guess. Here's a concrete example: Go to this custom wordle where the answer is STRAY and guess STARE: mywordle.strivemath.com/?word=ohidj You will see Green, Green, Yellow, Yellow, Gray Now go to this custom Symble where the answer is STARE and guess STRAY: www.symble.app/9747756585738621 You will see AABBC where A, B, and C are distinct symbols. It will be random which symbols you get, but A will mean Green, B will mean Yellow, and C will mean Gray. Do you see how the results match? This can be very confusing to think about though, so instead I describe it this way: 1. Greens work the same. If the symbol means "green" then the letter in that slot is correct. In the example, S and T were in the correct place. 2. If the symbol means "yellow" then a different letter in your guess belongs in that slot. In the example, the third slot should be A and the fourth slot should be R, and STRAY contains an A and R so those slots are yellow. 3. If the symbol means "gray" then no letters in your guess belong in that slot. In the example, the fifth slot is E, and STRAY does not have an E, so the 5th slot is gray. You do need to consider the official definition of the coloring when dealing with multiple of the same letter, though. It will first prefer to color a slot green when possible. Then, it will prefer the leftmost slot for yellows. So if the answer is START and you guess TEACH then the second slot will be yellow because the second letter of START is a T and TEACH contains a T, but the 5th slot will be gray because even though the 5th slot should be T, TEACH does not contain two Ts. Basically, an individual letter of your guess can only be used by a single clue.
@@Rangsk you are a saint for replying with such a thorough explanation. I'll read thru this and see if something clicks. Otherwise, I just enjoy watching you work your way through puzzles I can't seem to figure out on my own. Like Fibble. And Symble. 😁
@@treesyjo Yes, I agree, it is saintly to provide this level of detail. I'm still not quite ready to tackle Symble myself. I've gotten Fibble down, but that is more straightforward.
Good solve. Lucky AROSE-THINK-GRUNT-SWASH for me. Why did I think of that word? Nice Betweenle. 10 for me. Difficult Globle. I was lucky: Israel - Bangladesh - eSwatini - Guinea. Tough Polygonle. I refuse to leave the hexport mode because I would forget to re-enable it the next day. I just gave up after 10+ minutes. LOL, oh no oh no oh no! Identical Mini solves again! BASES-CREME-NIECE-PIECE for me. Interesting Symble. I played SONIC-HANDY-DRIFT-ALIVE-AXIAL.
Word500 has to be messing with me. Spine is always my starting word in wordle, so I just use it word500 too. I got it in one yesterday. Had to use a new starting word today so I used my word in wordle when Spine gets nothing which is rocky so I got in one two days in a row 🤯
@@Rangsk that would be good, i looked into membership previously but decided not to because it was not clear the lowest tier included early video access. i may not be alone.
i did suprisingly well on globle today, here were my guesses: Libya first, D.R.C second, the distance was roughly the same so i knew i had to either go east or west, and i decided east, so i put in Senegal, which was bordering, and then out of all the bordering countries i was lucky to pick Guinea, which was the final answer. 4 Guesses is not bad at all tbh
Dude you are so smart! I do not think i could ever have played games like symble. Keep it up!
For some reason, I just cant wrap my head around how Symble works no matter how many times you try to explain it. 😵💫

It took me awhile to get Symble; I made a lot mistakes when I started playing. Now it is one of favorite Wordle variant. I play it every day.

Loved the joke in betweenle!!!
FOUR today. ADULT, TASTE, MEATY, UNITY. I like playing in hard mode, thanks for sticking to it on your solves.
I figured out that the a was reused in symble. I figured it was arial, but twirl proved me wrong.
I was stumped cuz I don't know the answer word.

I had to look at a map for globle today too. That western coastline of Africa always confuses me
I love globle

That's crazy!!
if true, it's not clear the lowest tier membership provides early video access, I don't see that perk until I go to the middle tier.
I'll see if I can edit the perk descriptions

Great video!
Have you played Octordle Rescue? It's pretty fun and you only get one mistake
I used to play it on stream

How to be a membership? I cant find the button and Im from the Middle East btw
Does this link work? ruclips.net/user/rangskjoin
BLAZE BRINE AXIAL (the "X" as a filler helped me)
Wow!
