Many people don't like the final boss. But there's one thing you can't deny, when you hear the transition and look at him, you know you're fighting a GOD.
Radagon is a 10/10, the thing with the elden beast is that you can hit him like one time and he goes to the next corner of the area, and that makes the fight very, very boring and tedious
What really irks me is how easy it would be for FS to tweak the Elden Beast fight to make it so much better. Firstly, make Torrent summonable. With such a big arena and high mobility boss it seems intuitive that you’d be able to mount, and not only that but also being able to summon Torrent in the final battle feels fitting when he’s been with you throughout the entire game. Depending on how this changes the fight (some things may need to be further tweaked so they don’t become too easy, like the ring-summoning attack where you have to jump the rings), they could also tweak the behaviour values for EB so it runs away less frequently, however this seems slightly more difficult a task since many of its attacks’ hard coded animations involve it flying around, diving under the water and going everywhere. Hell, honestly all they’d probably need to do is just straight up remove EB’s running away behaviour outside of the aforementioned attacks, where it repositions in the arena without attacking and for no particular reason. It is able to create enough distance via some of these attack animations alone so I don’t really know why it has an additional behaviour of running away without it being necessarily part of an attack. Honestly I might just make a mod for ER which improves EB in this way, fuck it
Absolutely love how the main menu theme opens with those string plucks at 2:30 then goes into the early part of the song. It’s reversed here, and that part is expanded upon in this track. Amazing musical storytelling

I just beat the final boss this morning, and I loved it so much. The first part is such a contrast to From's past games, more victorious and less melancholic, but still reinforcing the fact that you are going up against something so much stronger than you, then the second part adopts that melancholic feeling of the past games, but with a more beautiful, angelic and holy tone to it. You go from fighting one of the strongest gods and warriors in history to fighting a manifestation of something so divine, godlike, and incomprehensible. It really is kind of the manifestation of the past games. A god and warrior like Gwyn and the royalty of Nashandra with Radagon, while the Elden Beast channels the cosmic horror of the Moon Presence with the existential threat that the Soul of Cinder and the Age of Dark represents in Dark Souls I kinda wrote an essay here, but I love what FromSoftware does with there games and their OSTs
I love how they throw the epic start of the fight building up to the shattering of the ring in the song and the chaos that follows. Then comes the second part of an ethereal realm. "Flame of Frenzy Merchant" There's a specific enemy, among many lost to a frenzied insanity, who is so far gone that he doesn't attack the player. I was in AWE. The music, the way the Elden Beast moved, had me in silence. When I died, I wasn’t mad, I was happy for how far I have come..the music helped me feel that way, idk if I’ll ever get this feeling again. To get it from a video game speaks volumes
I knew it's gonna be the one but still feel a little bit shame that because of the content Altas has to do on this fantastic channel, he already has to be kinda spoiled from the game. Honestly, I shall never forget the first time I walked into that boss room. Such a beautiful track. PS. slightly out of the focus topic, Frostpunk have REALLY good soundtrack as well. Before Elden Ring came out, I was listening to that whole album over and over. Hard to believe that's what their choice for a city building game tbh
I see most of the people suggests Mohg or Godskin Apostle, and while i agree that they are indeed good songs, i want to suggest Godfrey, First Elden Lord. His theme Is practically divided in two different tracks, because you learn in the story that Godfrey royalty as First Elden Lord isnt his true and strongest form. Ironically, it's when he rips his title away that he Is at full Power. And i love his boss fight for this
SPOILER I would have preferred that Phase 1 is a prime Radagon image , then after beating him, he becomes the first form we see , revealing that he’s just a hollow puppet instead of how great he used to be
here are a few of my recommendations: No Mercy - Command & Conquer Clash on the Big Bridge - Dissidia AC Arcade Altar of Skorne - Gauntlet Dark Legacy Wandering Ghosts - Castlevania Symphony of the Night.
Spoiler alert: The theme is actually divided into two parts the first part is when you fight radagon the elden lord, bombastic, energetic and powerful. The second part is when radagon is defeated you are faced against the elden beast which is like the god entity, which is like spacy, open, calm, similar to how the elden beast moves and how the arena looks.
Worth mention that the melody in the first phase quite resembles King Allant battle from the original Demon Souls (not sure they remade it differently on remake). Nice how theh add layers of nostalgia in this game.
Malenia blade of miquella Starcourge radahn Godrick the grafted Godskin apostles Mohg lord of blood Godfrey the first elden lord Beast clergyman Are my favorities
I personally think the best piece in the elden ring soundtrack is the boss theme for godrick the grafted. I've been checking your channel quite regularly to see if you've posted a reaction to it. I'd love to see it sometime :D
The second phase track is so chilling. To me, the solo female vocals represent Marika and her violent dictating rule, even of she's clinging on to the threads of what once was. The other vocals that interrupt her is the reason, or the will of all she has oppressed arguing back one last time. Then when she finally "realizes" or comes to terms with it, she joins in on them, almost as if both opposing sides are ready for the dawn of a new era, and the end of their own.
Bandai already confirmed that the Elden Ring IP will extend through other media, maybe TV shows or anime? However, it's not like they had intentions of doing Dark Souls 2 and 3 when they made Dark Souls 1, so it's not really something you can get from a song.
Second part is more about the experience and vibe you're getting in the actual game... you know it's the end. All the journey you had in the Lands Between comes up to this. I teared up during the fight and the cutscene and even more once I beat the beast...
@@SmHy23 ima be honest i did not like the elden beast boss fight it was annoying to chase him around the whole map after he'd run away from a single attack. this also doesnt help when he has a huge health.
Please check SHADOW OF THE COLOSSUS ost , ( The opend way & The prologue)
I did a video for those already
My guess was right
Thanks for this reaction Atlas of the Void
Check the godskin apostles ost!
And i love his boss fight for this
Let him do Godskin Apostles aswell please😭😭
SPOILER
I would have preferred that Phase 1 is a prime Radagon image , then after beating him, he becomes the first form we see , revealing that he’s just a hollow puppet instead of how great he used to be
Definitely didn't expect the guitar there, damn you're good haha. great vid by the way.
Thank you!
Godskin Apostles is my new favourite boss theme. Highly suggest you do a vid on it!
You know you are fucked when the title theme plays in a game xD well at the start
I can't wait for you to play this masterpiece !
here are a few of my recommendations:
No Mercy - Command & Conquer
Clash on the Big Bridge - Dissidia AC Arcade
Altar of Skorne - Gauntlet Dark Legacy
Wandering Ghosts - Castlevania Symphony of the Night.
It’s crazy how the first part has so much demons souls and Ds1 in it. And something completely new in the second part.
I head bang every time his theme plays like Deku when he watched AllMight as a kid. Love this theme.
Gotta love the callbacks to Demon's Souls and Gwyn's themes in the first 2 minutes of the song
Pleaase we need Mhog ost next, it's incredible!
6.28 .... 7.00 nailed it, thank you!
POG!
Elden ring 2 is the next project after DLC and other game between also people's forget FS can start ER2 in different times in same world
The Godskin Apostles OST is a must watch for sure!
The first phase has the motif of the demon's souls main theme!!!
Godskin Apostles ost is a must.
Spoiler alert:
The theme is actually divided into two parts the first part is when you fight radagon the elden lord, bombastic, energetic and powerful.
FromSoftware really outdid themselves with the soundtrack to ER. So many bosses have amazing songs.
You're one step closer to being together with one of us living failures!!
Malenia blade of miquella
Starcourge radahn
Godrick the grafted
Godskin apostles
Mohg lord of blood
Godfrey the first elden lord
Beast clergyman
Are my favorities
Plin plin plon is now plin plon :')
What does that even mean lol
@@teibdavies242 go and check Gwyn's theme
Godfrey The First Elden Lord/ Hoarah Loux OST would be my request for a reaction.
I personally think the best piece in the elden ring soundtrack is the boss theme for godrick the grafted. I've been checking your channel quite regularly to see if you've posted a reaction to it. I'd love to see it sometime :D
You should really check out Godskin Apostles. Never have I heard a more fitting case for the word "unholy"
As a musician, singer myself and gamer. The elden beast ost was that great for me, I can barely fight and finish the game just because of the music.
there is always room for a prequel would love to play godfrey the first elden lord
Chadagon is my 2nd favorite boss fight in this entire game
Please listen to "Godfrey the first elden lord" ost it's an amazing boss and the music itself is just epic and fits with the character.
Pure frenzy
But The Sales Numbers tell you there will be Elden Ring 5!
Cant wait for you to play Dark Souls 3
Please react to Lichdragon Fortissax theme from elden ring. Its my favorite song, imo best in whole game. The boss is amazing too!
Bandai already confirmed that the Elden Ring IP will extend through other media, maybe TV shows or anime? However, it's not like they had intentions of doing Dark Souls 2 and 3 when they made Dark Souls 1, so it's not really something you can get from a song.
mano, se tiver algum br aqui, mano esse cara é o dmenor calvo e sem toca kkkkk
Alex Roe - Night of the Hunt
the radagon ost goes crazy, cant say i mess with the elden beast one as much
Second part is more about the experience and vibe you're getting in the actual game... you know it's the end.
In all honesty it felt lry unengaging to me whereas both the radagon fight and boss itself had me hyped to fight
i think the first part is the best part for me 5:19
Phase 1 the battle for power and the lands between
Phase 2 the end of an age
I saw the thumbnail and it took me too long to realise that they didn't hire you to work on the music since I read it as "Elden Ring Composer ➡️"
Creo q desbloqué el super sayayin escuchando esta banda sonora, full erizado 😂
Insectoooooo
The intro to the Elden Beast fight…. the female vocals remind me a lot of a certain theme that plays in the Attack on Titan anime. Not sure which tho
Vogel im Kafig perhaps?
Can you please breakdown beast clergyman or god devouring serpent from eldenring?
Game of the Year. Has to be.
pontiff sulvahn ost from ds 3
