I'm assuming this was done before the Exxon announcement as there was no mention of their entry into Arkansas. Would like to hear Standard's take on this.
Thanks for the comment and for taking the time to view our content! Yes the interview was done before the Exxon announcement. We are working on an update before year end.
Better hurry. Most battery designs used in mass production right now use Lithium but there are new ones already in production that don't use any. Most of the money to be made will be available in the next 5 to 10 years.
How will this compete with Chile, Australia, and most importantly, China? China will change its tune, and go to dumping.
@@cashed-out2192 When the Salton sea direct extraction gets up to production it will cost more to ship Lithium to the US than it's worth. Battery prices will follow the same downward curve as flat screen TVs. I remember when a 720p Plasma was $10,000, now you can't even buy that kind of TV and 4k ones are $200.
