Your numbers and growth are insane. Idk if this is true but I notice people who build really large sites do much better than smaller sites a LOT faster. People in my niche who build larger sites from the get go just seem to rank much faster without as many links or authority. I’ve been building my site out slowish (20 to 30 posts a month) and people in the same niche are already in media vine after a year (same age as my site) but they posted about 50+ articles a month.
That makes sense. More articles mean more traffic, more earnings, and you reach those milestones earlier
When can we expect your next video? We are constantly waiting for your income report and checking your channel nonstop. Could you please do one thing more this time - let us know about the total number of articles you have published and how many are indexed. We will be grateful.
I've been following along since the start, great job! I hope that my site gains some traction and then I can finally pump a lot of content. It seems that these days big sites are doing well. Good job.

As you might recall (from some of my past comments, but I know you get a bunch of comments), I am not about 3 months into a massive content investment. I know from older published posts it takes about 4 months until a post start to increase and 8 months until things 'mature', still it is hard to maintain focus. Your videos are a nice reassurance and motivator.

Thanks Carl 🙏 Yeah it kind of happened by accident as there were no stock photos for this particular topic, so I had to capture my own with an iPhone. I watched your video on this topic too, it's good to have these images on standby.
@@growthscouter7647 it's much easier than people think. I went out for a day yesterday and took 100's whilst my wife was shopping. Random images but you'll never know when you'll need them.

Really loved the ROC especially get to the point from the very first word of article.
Yup it impact page on time like many of too the point question only needs too the point answer.
I have several of such articles answeing from the beginning without any intro and they have average 35-50 sec page on time but who cares if users are happy and that 35 seconds are really the engaged time rather than just scrolling.

@@NicheInformer Oh nice! You must have a good insight after using all 3. AT is one that I am yet to try. This site didn't get approved with AT as I think it is too young considering it's getting 90% US traffic

Thanks Robert. I have thought about it, but there are many other videos out there on setting up wordpress for blogging, so I don't really do anything different. Lockdown is going alright, wine intake has definitely increased!

Hey mate, I have since exited that site, it was a wild ride! Can't share too much else atm. The entire game has changed and approaching everything differently now.
@@growthscouter7647 Congrats on the exit! Gothcha, I too used to be almost entirely an SEO + ads person, so this was a really fun series, but I'm also diversifying more broadly to not be so dependent. Working so that search traffic and ads is just part of the machine, but not all of it.
What new developments did you have for the month of October Growth Scouter? I've been following this series quite closely and am interested how your massive content cluster has further developed. Have you seen any traffic dips due to the new Google update?
October was a great month as same for November so far. I did see a 5% dip with the algo update but has now rebounded nicely. I think focusing on deep content clusters and providing google snippet helped a lot.
In this and your earlier videos, I've noticed that in GSC you are immediately at an average position of around SERP 10. Even in your first video, the line is at 10 right when you see that GSC indexed the site. Meaning that for example is you got indexed and the 3-month average was stuck around 30+, the niche would be a failure right? |Meaning that no matter how much content you push, the road to the first page would be much more difficult. But when you see that you are sticking to SERP 10 right from the start and holding it with just few days of drop - you can continue to push out content. (Or would you try to push the page even if you would see yourself get indexed at let's say average position 30+). Thank you.
It's hard to gauge as the content is niche specific on how hard it is to rank. Also, if you say only have 30 posts, the data will be skewed for only those as opposed to 200 posts where you are likely to get more winners

Something I miss in almost every single video about SEO is the part regarding managing writers and a team of people. How exactly do you do it? What's the exact path that the article follows from its conception based on keyword research to its publishing? For example:
- What tools do you use to organize your list of articles and keywords? Notion? Excel?
- What application do you use to collaborate with your writers? Google Docs? Dropbox Paper? Notion?
- Who adds the images and their alt texts? The writers? Another person?
- Do you provide the article layout and headings? Or just the title + keywords for them to do the research?
- Do you have a team of writers only? Or also some editors?
- What exactly do editors do?
- How many revisions do you do per article?
- How much time does it pass between 1st submission and revision?
- How do you exactly review the article?
- How do you exactly train your writers? Videos? Written guides? Links?
Most videos tend to miss these VERY important issues that I find when I try to scale my team of writers. And I wonder what are the steps or processes I can improve in my side.
I would love to see a video of yours talking about it. Your case studies are really amazing. I've seen all your videos I truly admire what you have achieved!

Talking about using unique images, do you just make sure you use any image taking by you for a particular post, or will the image be highly relevant to the topic?
For example, if your blog is in the food niche, and you mentioned you already have 1600+ posts, does it mean you always go out and take images that'll be relevant to each of these posts? Like relevant image for posts about cooking different dishes, drying tomatoes, freezing peppers, etc.
Thanks mate! Na I just have about 50 photos that are uploaded to Wordpress so the formatter can use those for certain posts. They really only come into play when there are no images to use from other stock photo sites.
Ok, thanks for the clarification. But if I understand correctly, so the image must not be strictly relevant to the blog post, but it should be generally related to your niche?

Great Video. And i love the results that you get. I have one question. I watched the interview between Matt Diggity and Koray and i would like to ask you. If i have one main keyword which the keywords tools are showing it has approximately 50 000search volume,do you think if i create 70-80 supporting pages and interlink them to the main pillar page with variable anchor text do i have a chance to get my website in page 1 as a new blogger. I have started recently 4 months ago and last month ive got 680 page views.
Thanks mate. Yeah, that is possible, but if you are just starting out, I wouldn't personally try try to write 70-80 posts to just rank one big KW. You could instead just focus on the low comp KW and maybe do pillar posts down the track.

Do you provide an outline or a brief with all the headers that you want your writers to write about? Or do you just let them write and come up with what to talk about in regards to that keyword?
I train the writers when hiring to do the research themselves to find related subtopics.
Excellent video mate, did you do anything special to the blog for your Mediavine application? Seen a few people saying they had their applications rejected recently.
Thanks Shaun 🙏 I guess the main thing I paid attention to was to make the homepage look "pretty" and advertiser friendly. I also turned off Ezoic ads on the home page as didn't want to make it look ugly ahah.

On My First website, I published 80 articles in 1 month. On GSC average position is 70-80 n got 2 3 clicks. I know it's not time to think about visitors but I just want to listen from you. Should I do link building or focus more on content. I planned that I'll publish 120 posts asap n wait for 2-3 months to see performance. What you think is it will gonna perform well or not? (Most keywords have around 0-500 SV according to ahref)
I am a big builder in posting more content than building links as I find you get a better ROI by writing more content. Link of course are important, but I focus mainly on content then can work on links later on.

Thanks mate! I usually promote my best writers to editors as the know the topics and how they should be written. I pay them $20/hr and they can do about 10-20 posts a day (around 30 mins to edit each one).

I do all the normal EAT practices (author bio, good about page, linkedin, etc). I think you should have no issues with fashion as that does not fall under EAT categories.

I wouldn't say there is an average as differs a lot. I target anything that is low comp. So could be 20/mo or 10,000/mo.

Thanks mate! I have an editor that does most of proofreading in Google docs and a VA who formats and uploads the posts to Wordpress. But I always do the last check before publishing
How do you find the topics that are majority US and high RPM?
You can get a good idea of the ratio of US traffic from playing around with the search location in keywords everywhere. In most cases, the high RPM will come just by targeting US traffic. The intent behind the search is also a big contributing factor behind the RPM.
On Ezoic, you had the ad setting on "balanced" or "revenue focused"?
I tried both, but the revenue focused looked way too spammy so turned it off

Can you tell how do you manage to target high competition keywords with a volume of 6600?
Are you creating a flood of content around that topic or you're doing something else?
If it is high competition, I usually won't go after it whether it is 100 or 6000 volume. If it is low competition, I will go after it as normal regardless of the search volume

Thanks. 90% of my traffic is from the US, so the data in the video is pretty much covering a majority US audience, so I did see a good increase. The RPM is now around $39 with mediavine
