i have 2 of them and they are great. i fine the medium is a bit too stiff for what i use it for usually. but the 6'4L is great

Nice video - and rod. It’s not easy to find a 4 or 5 piece quality spinning rod. Very little choice. Quite strange, considering 4 piece rods are the norm nowadays for fly fishing - and these guys are very demanding and fussy when it comes to their tackle. I can’t imagine a 4 piece spinning rod would be harder to design than a fly rod…
Why kind of lure did you get that smallmouth on?

what type of fishing line used in this video ?
and can you recommend which line types and how many lbs should i go with ?

I use 6-8lb Gamma Edge fluorocarbon line with it. I fish very clear water and it is almost invisible underwater.

I use a 2500 shimano vanford. A 3000 would work as well. I like the balance with the 2500 it is also very light paired with the 7’0 model.

Sorry, I meant the medium light. I guess a 2000 would be perfect then, with 10lb sinking braid. 👍

@@SiuslawORI have the ML and use a C3000. The extra weight helps balance it better. The lack of cork makes the butt section a bit light.
