    Excellent video and thanks for the info. My question would be with these speakers be compatible with the Sena ARK AGV model? And Can they be connected to the already existing Mic from the old system? Thanks in advance

      I would not be in any position to answer this question, I would suggest that you reach out to tech support for Sena, they have always bene pretty good for anything i needed to ask, you can search the website to but seems to be a little vague, www.sena.com/us-en/search-results?indexCatalogue=senasearchindex&searchQuery=HD

    The hd more loud and clear, but has it also more lows?? Or is it just screaming high tones? Who are always louder

      Thanks Zak. Sorry mate as of right now they don't seem to be on the incorporated systems only the stand alone. They started with the first 4 main models and working on many more to come this spring. I'm sure there may be possibilities to cover all products by riding season. Do you speakers alone disconnect? If so then I'm sure its in the works. Ide say best to shoot a message to Sena Technologies and see what they can provide to you. They are great service support...
      Cheers and stay safe my fellow Torontonian

    My take on these speakers if you're looking into these. I had my sena with the slim speakers. There is a massive difference from the slim to the HD with the app setting enabled. My girlfriend has the premium speakers. With HD enabled in the app on the premium, the HD speakers offer more clarity, but not as big of a jump from the slim.
    If you have the slim, upgrade. If you have the premium, enable HD in the settings and see how you like it. If you need more clarity from the premium with HD enabled, get the HD speakers.

    Thank you for the video. My question for you is did you have to do any changes in the app? I see there is a HD speakers option should this be checked on and also the EQ? thank you

      No. It's was a plug and play. No software or firmware update. Simply install. Connect and play with nice sound feedback. Makes a huge difference as we have have these sets on a few helmets along with basic sets and slim sets. The premium HD are truly nicer overall.

      I was wondering about this. I have a standard SMH5 and want to upgrade the speakers, the SMH5S has the same connector so they will fit so I was wondering is there an improvement without using any HD audio processing. From your great video, I guess they probably would be a good upgrade.

      @@buncobooth I know for the 20S, 20evo and my 30K from already good speakers these swap out makes a big difference! Much more clear, much more sound and more bass. Actually very pleased. Not sure if they are compatible with your unit. Do check with Sena. But if they can work then I think you'll be very impressed with the outcome !

      @@itsadyerthing they do two versions of them, one for the 30K, 20S EVO and 20S and another for the 5S, 10C PRO and 10C EVO.

    • @buncobooth

      So I bit the bullet and tried these out for the SMH5 (not the 5S). Firstly they do fit the 5. Secondly, I found that they don't have more volume but much clearer and less distortion. For me also even though they are physically bigger than the original speakers they actually fitted into the cutouts in my XLite where the other ones didn't, I think the actual drivers are smaller but they have a foam covering so they can fit into a smaller space - I was quite surprised about this. So am very happy with them. I tried a few different EQ settings on my phone's player to get the best sound but I am glad I went for these, as much because they fit into the helmet better as well as the sound improvment.

    Now if only we could get that used to work on the bicycle helmets. My wife and I talk every night when she comes home for work on her bicycle and it’s difficult to hear

    • @itsadyerthing
      @itsadyerthing  3 года назад +1

      Hmmm you may be onto something here !
      I would figure most people would get a quadlock for their mobile phone and then use one Bluetooth earpod into their ear and simply make a phone call or conference call being most packages come with unlimited calling... but to find a designated headset could be a good idea too! These headsets cam also connect to a external headphone and mic comes with multiple options...
