@@debaucheryscenes I get that to be fair. The rest of the album is very folkey and relatively upbeat soundwise whereas friend song is very dark and slow. That being said, I think friend song has my favourite lyrics of any song on Birdie.

Just saw them perform a very similar set @ Barboza in Seattle two weeks ago. If you get the chance to catch them live on this tour or another, DO IT. I think Jake is literally at the peak of his creativity and performance right now, and I can't wait to hear what he's got planned with LP3.
