God i love that like all the crowd did the "right next? like right next- oh god." oh fuck they did the OH COME ON aswell im melting fuck i wish i was born early enough to watch them live when they were around i wish they did more vocals with the drummer cause his vioce is so good
Man. I was supposed to go to this show back in college. I remember being so excited, living right down the road in my dorm. The day came and went, I ended up not being able to make it. I've been thinking about that missed show at Park Ave for years. Now almost 10 years later, my life is completely different and the algorithm gods serve this up to me. Funny how these things work. Rip mobo
Damn brother, I feel you. I wasn’t able to go but my homeboy did. It was right before I turned 18, so my friend grabbed one of those fish posters behind them and got it signed for me as a gift. 4 days later, on my birthday, we went to see Title Fight and Circa Survive in Lauderdale and I got a signed copy of Shed. Would have been the most epic birthday for me if I was able go to this one too 😢
i fucking love when the drummer comes in with his part in graduation and nails it while drumming soooo sick. tho, they look stoned as fuck hahaha i love it
Brendans little dance swaying side to side always makes me happy. Seeing him happy makes me so fucking happy. depression is a bitch. keep being awesome doodz!

ok when i first saw this like 2 - 3 years ago and i had just started playing the drums, now revisting this i realized that im pretty sure sean went through atleast 3 different tempos during tears over beers, lmao. gotta love the guy though, plays with so much energy and always is happy. 😁 hope they comeback soon.
they look like a family where sean is the father, ian the oldest son, jake the second son (that is probably in high school) and of course bren is the youngest son just look at how adorable he is...
Wait so they don't have a assigned lead singer? I thought the bigger guy did lead vocals for every song. Like when listening to Your Graduation and Tears Over Beers i didnt even notice a change in vocalists (sorry im very new to this band. Im seeing them with Say Anything so I thought I'd give them a listen and theyre SO good.)
Sean Galivan The two guys on the ends (Bren on the left, Jake on the right) share lead singing duties and Ian (tall lad in the middle) sings backup and occasionally he'll sing a little more like he does during "The Old Gospel Choir" in this set. He's sung lead on their Killers cover a few times as well. Hope this helped, enjoy seeing them live, they always put on a sick show as does Say Anything.
I can, Jake's voice is slightly lower. And Brendan has his phrasing thing he does "About...me", "Sure ain't dead to...me", "I wish that I could say...no".
2:50 "I hate worrying about the future, because all my fucking problems are based around Ian."
The big dude in the crowd is living his best life and I’m here for it
Came to comments just to see this. That guy is so happy.
wouldn't you be ??? i miss modern baseball more than anything in the world. i wish to be that man rn LMAO
8:37 he is doing the adlibs ❤️❤️
He’s a vibe, I love seeing people know all the lyrics and sing along.
I would give my left kidney to get to see these guys live.
Zac Hore I’d give your left kidney too

My one regret in life is not seeing Modern Baseball in concert 😭
The closest I got was seeing Bren Lukens’ solo set in Cleveland in 2017
modern baseball forever
Michael Cera was playing the bass
scott pilgrim
a band that got me and my buddies through college via many live shows and beer filled jams. Long live MOBO.
I am in love with their bassist
Ian is my father

The Killers ending to The Weekend (20:40) was SO GOOD
I love hearing Ian singing I wish he had more parts in the studio
they look like a family where sean is the father, ian the oldest son,
jake the second son (that is probably in high school) and of course bren
is the youngest son just look at how adorable he is...
they call him the band dad because he's a few years older than the rest of them lol
Hamthy727 His twitter handle is SteadyDad
and his bio says father for Modern Baseball
Ive been coming back to this live set for years now... its just the best
Thought it was nice they put When You Were Young by The Killer at the end of The Weekend :D
is the camera in a hole in the wall? lol
pretty sure the guy who recorded also wanted to enjoy the show lmao
i understand why this band cant be together anymore but fuck i would give one of my balls to see them live
God I would kill to see them live :(
miss them
Seeing slaughter beach dog this weekend but still wish I could've caught one of these shows. Hope they one day do a reunion tour

Amazing.
Love these guys~always catch every show I can..you should too.
are they 21 and up only?
You mean the venue? I have no idea, sorry :/
Haskel Campbell no its just a record and cd store, me and my friends go there for shows all the time and we're 18
Cheers for the upload! Killer stuff. That jazzmaster looks amazing.
Miss these guys, some of the best gigs I've ever been to
About a year ago, this video came on my recommended. I hardly listen to any other band now.
I love the way the guys in the front are just vibing
that tall dude kills me
I really like the they changed the end of The Weekend to When You Were Young by the Killer
“All my fuckin problems are bases on Ian”
i miss them
24:20 the way they just stop and enjoy the moment
Wait, Holt is in the crowd. “At least that’s what I tell Holt” - Thrash Particle
He's their manager
Ian really loves the songs his band makes, nothing better
wish they'd come back :(
Damn "fine great" hits different live
sean is a madman on the kit!
Love you modern baseball ❤❤
Shout out that piece of rebar

Just saw them at the observatory in Santa Anna they did amazing
holy shit that last chorus of fine, great gave me mf chills.
get why theyre not losing their mind (mind you I dont) but damn perfect reflection view vid consumption
Brendans best live vocals change my mind
if only jakes mixing was a bit louder then i’d think this would be their best performance
That’s a really sick Jazz Master

Jake's like sorry bro I wanna sing for once lol 8:10
I have the same guitar haha, awesome sounding thing
Damn Ian's a really good bassist

Hell yeah dude thanks. Since my comment was written I got waaaay more into them. Such a great band, thanks for sharing your knowledge.
PJ Coombs I honestly wish they gave Ian more lead parts in the recordings, or at least one like they did with Sean. He has a great voice.
i wish i could’ve saw them once
Anyone notice the "I am the avalanche" reference at around 11:30
WAIT RIGHT NEXT TO RIGHT NEXT TO ME OH GOD
WHY DOES HE HATE IAN SO MUCH
@@strawberrywigz1658 they mean bren was jokingly saying mean things to ian in this set
They remind of 90's Pavement.
I’m here for Brendan’s shuffle at 6:52
god DAMN would you LOOK at jake ewald

this is crazy because barely anyone knows the lyrics and if this happened today people would go rabid
