Intimidating yet enthralling game. These guides have been incredibly helpful, and have given me some confidence I've lacked in facing the mangled horrors Valheim offers.
@@gamestar.nation Well, I am sure there are some... I have trouble keeping calm once odds turn against me. That and- venturing onto the more dangerous biomes seems troublesome. Plenty of questions, yet hard to figure out alone!

I just started Valheim and it’s great to see what’s coming up. It helps to know how to do the next thing and not just get stuck and not know where to go or what to do. I really appreciate and enjoyed your videos!
I’m looking forward to the Plains guide too! It’s my favorite biome and pretty straight-forward. I’m just dreading the boss fight. Solo and legit, it’s a long fight. For me, at least. I’ll get it though. Just not ready to set a deadline 😉
I’m still trying to learn all the things about this game and these guides have been extremely helpful and are making me more confident to take on the next biome. Awesome videos!
I love these videos. Thank you, some guide videos just never get to the point of actually exploring the biomes firsthand and rolling with the punches. Can’t wait to see the next biomes
Man, those drakes really c---blocked the hell out of that silver ore moment lol. The wife and I are getting back into this and I'm following this series and trying to give her the best experience I can.
@@yoji58 😆 drakes these days have no respect. Thats awesome you’re getting back into it and even sweeter that the wife is joining you. Thanks for choosing my series to warm you back up 👍
Just seen how recent this video is 😮💨 thanks for showing the gameplay! You really helped my teammate and I get comfortable in the swamp 💪 maxing out our gear then the bonemass ☝️
@@mickygriggs yep, this ^^ You can click on them to follow you, take them to an area you want them to protect, and then click on them again and they will guard that area from any and all non-friendly mobs. Just know that they will take off chasing anything in the area and may wander out of the area if it is not closed off.

A friend bought me this game 2 weeks ago and I've been playing solo recently because he's been busy. I've managed to solo the first 2 bosses and get a root mask so far following these videos. I still need to beat bonemass but thought I'd jump ahead and watch this one anyways. I'm thinking of getting a few bits from this biome and go back?
Great job! 👏 Yea, you can do that. You can skip Bonemass and still unlock silver with the Stagbreaker tip shown in this video. Thats what I normally do when playing solo. Then I return with a ton of frost arrows to woop on him once I’m ready. I support your plan! 👍
@@gamestar.nation this is very encouraging! I was thinking of potentially using frostner for bonemass because of the blunt dmg. But frost arrows sound awesome too. Thanks for your guidance!
Yea, originally they would swim around when the wall ended at the water, but when I extended it out, the stopped. Also, I put up spikes on the outer edges of the wall which helps.
Okay I need some serious help 😅 I died in a frost cave and my spawn is in a base I made at the top of the mountain…and I have no spare gear lol any ideas how I get myself out of this predicament?
@@gamestar.nation no worries! Someone taught me about the commands and I was able to reset my spawn point 😭 I was seriously worried I would be stuck in the mountains with no supplies
@@isseanlawson4895Glad it got sorted out. But here is a PSA for anyone with similar situation: This can be solved without commands: if you destroy your bed in the mountain outpost, that should also reset your spawn. Just run out but naked afterwards so you don't lose more items to graves. Also preparation is key. Getting a 2nd set current level armor can be extremely tedious so not recommended. But portals are not that expensive by the mountains. If you completed Bonemass, it's a good chance you found surtling geyser. Turning that to a farm is really low effort. Just dig around so they spawn in kne-deep-water. Put a small outpost near. And occasionally check in. Given how surtling cores are not needed in stone/wood quantities, no need for elaborate AFK contraptions like Greydwarves. Just passing by among bigger tasks in 0.5-2 hours will yield a steady supply of cores. Good for portal hubs and industrial level smelting arrays.
Sorry to hear it. Just make sure to get up high and look for small clearings between the boulders and elevated areas. Are you using the wishbone or stagbreaker to find the silver?
Yea. You can do that though. If you open your inventory and then click on the 2 swords in the top right, it will flag you for pvp. I’ve dreamed of clan vs clan combat though. Multiple vessels cutting across the water at the break of dawn, heading to raid a rival village of players.
