Those are some good genetics, backed by a good looking pup. He is blue but not chocolate, so he can’t be lilac because he would have to be both blue and chocolate.

So before breeding your female should all these be tested? From what I’m told by the breeder and based off my dogs passport I have a blue Merle should I still go get her tested for all these things before breeding her ?

Love the videos but galant is not a lilac hes a blue Merle that can produce lilacs since he carries coco but he himself isn’t a lilac there’s not way he could be since he’s not a brown dog since he’s BB and he’s not a coco dog since he’s N/Co

Gotcha I ya are first time testing for the chocolate gene and I thought they the cocoa one meant she was chocolate but I appreciate the info. Always more to learn!

If he doesn't carry double chocolate then he's not lilac, Lilac is double chocolate, Double Blue😐.....🤦🏿‍♂️
