    Yes, it is expensive but it’s a tool you will have and use forever. Think of it as an investment for the future!

    I see there are different ways to mount this tool. I just got an anvil which has 1 1/8” hardy hole. Would this cause issue will play in hardy hole since since it comes with 1”? My assumption is no due to surface area of bottom plate

      The bottom plate won't really prevent any shifting. When you hammer on it you'll put in plenty of energy to overcome any friction the bottom plate would provide.
      I doubt that with a 1/8" extra in your hardy hold you'd have any problems using this. However if you do you can build a hardy hole sleeve very easily to adjust your hardy hole to 1 inch which will then work for any 1 inch hardy tools you have. You could build a hardy sleeve easily enough out of some 1/4 angle iron.

      FYSA - Per the company, they will no longer be making this guillotine tool due to cost to produce it but will be making the dies. The item is on sale now with only a few in stock.
