It's really weird that they made Leo look malnourished to the point where you can see his ribcage and any one of his bones could probably break like a twig, even though the film is trying to say vegetarianism is a good thing.
To all the people who complain about The Lion King being a Kimba the White Lion knockoff, they've obviously never heard of this cancer of a movie.
Not to mention that Kimba the White Lion actually started first, 30 years before Disney's The Lion King.
It is currently in debate that whether or not Lion King is a rip-off (done right actually, which is very rare) of Kimba the White Lion anime, or a inspirational remake to the old anime.

Believe it or not, there was actually a historical account of a lion who refused to eat meat and still managed to eat a healthy life. (Little Tyke. Look her up.)

Because the dronkeys can be explained by the context of their universe.

The “Heart of the Jungle” being outside of it would make sense if the legend was created a long along time ago, when the jungle was a lot bigger. Through time and probably human deforestation, it became a shell of what it once was. That’d be why no animal could ever find it until Leo left the actually jungle. Bit of a stretch sure, but it’s a least an explanation for such a flaw.

You're the second person to review this movie trash after Saberspark had to go through it as well. Also about time someone starts reviewing the full movie of The Trumpet of the Swan. I watched it when I was a kid though it's almost time take off my nostalgia glasses.

Maybe. It would have to be an incomplete separation, a Siamese twin situation. But that's super specific and unlikely.

He shouldn't even know what a veterinarian is... but to be fair, plenty of bad animal movies make mistakes like this....
Sooooo... can anyone tell me why the baby elephant stopped his brother(?) from calling Maximus out on his bullshit? There’s really no reason to since Savannah and Leo are there, especially since Leo defeats Maximus all on his own later. This movie makes my head hurt so much...

Also, I did some deep diving. That Masha and the Bear thing is SUPER sketchy. The original Masha series is made exclusively by a Russian company. Look at the image, it shows real people with the CG characters. It's either a wholly unrelated knock-off or bootlegged graphics with poorly integrated real actors or we just got "A Day With Sponge Bob"'d.

Would say looks like a PS2 game, but I've seen PS2 games that looked better. 3rd, between mentioning a zoo and that villain, movie is right. Should be watching Madagascar or Lion King instead. I think Maximus knowing Leo by name beforehand was a translation error or something. Like he meant to say “Lion” but the director was drunk or something and didn’t correct Mercer.
Maximus clearly thinks of himself as Jotaro Kujo, but he's really just Hol Horse.
No offense to actual vegetarians but anyone else sick of the “carnivore is a good guy cause he only eats plants.” Not that a character can’t be a vegetarian who’s normally a carnivore, but eat meater equals villain is stupid and hypocritical considering most of the creators of movies and stories with this trope probably aren’t vegetarian themselves.
Want to a carnivore be the main character even if they are shown hunting

Actually, female elephants do have tusks, but they're very small. Savanna's tusks are the right size, so it's kinda weird how they screwed up with the doctor....

Yeah this was 3 yrs but yeah Masha and The Bear is 10x better rhan this movie. The animation is amazing, the characters are all likable and it’s charming and funny. I haven’t watched the newer seasons but the first few seasons are my favs. I don’t watch it in English though, I listen to it better in Russian cause Masha sounds more like a kid than her English va ( who is a kid but seems a tad annoying, yeah Masha is supposed to be an annoying character but I never got that with her voice, mainly her actions ).

I find it strange that the movie never gives a reason why Leo doesn't eat meat. It would made more sense if Leo's body is repulsed by meat and therefore must be vegetarian like with the example you gave us from the Animal Kingdom manga; But here, we are only told that Leo is vegetarian with no reasoning. Is Leo vegetarian just because, well that's not healthy for him because he looks malnourished as all hell. So the writers were just being lazy and didn't care about making this movie any good.

If You want to see a better movie about a Carnivore turned vegetarian watch Wolfy the incredible secret. It’s animated better has a better story and their is a twist to why the main character is a vegetarian.
