He's still dealing with the aftermath of that stupid spirted away review that wasn't a review that and was made to be a riff track for the film which was unfunny and terrible.
Not to mention a pilot for another series that flopped and he still is trying to get people to watch it despite its massive failure.

A few additional things, after having watched both movies and about half the Fantasy Island TV Show:
First, the director of all of this is a north Korean Kim J. Ok, which is also kinda wild.

@@beneil2 Dartz was a filler character in the original Yu-Gi-oh anime he was the King of Atlantis. He used the seal of orichalcos a magic rock to steal people’s souls. And was a part of a convoluted plot point to where he manipulated Alister, Valon, and Rafael into his cause to destroy humanity using the Great Leviathan.

I think the writer(s) must have been legit on drugs when they "wrote" this show. I would never normally say this about the wild imagination of artists but I'm not convinced these guys are ones.

The King of Atlantis's voice sounds so wrong. His speech to Don Juan sounds more like a commercial disclaimer than someone explaining to guy he can't interact with his family

And the animated series loosely ties in to the first movie with the titanic and Tom conners returning to New York. *Insert joke about this being better planned out than the Star Wars sequels*.

Funny enough Mondos website (yes it has a website with contact info and emails) has moved on to more original projects like robot Trains and Invention story and their ripe off movies and franchises they made are unlisted coming up an error. so I think Mondo wants to distance themselves from their past, but it’s a little to late for that.

The only redeeming point I could see for this series is the resolution of the plot hole and continuity errors between the two animated films, by having the main cast and the Titanic arrive at New York.

Correction regarding "Ice Teeth" In the other two movies his name was RAZOR Teeth. This show is so stupid.
This show is such a mess it can't even be described as Bird vs Camel but Sloppy Animation Vs Drugs.

What the hell is up with the animation with this? It's so dodgy from going to Digital 2D to looking like cell-shaded CGI to Flash animation. At least the previous two movie's visuals had more consistent and decent looking animation.
Fun fact: the series actually recycles animation from the movies in some scenes that really says something about the production of this series.
It was Rushed out the door to make a deadline.
