The guy that repaired our flood damage uses felt roof underlayment on top of the plywood. Some call it tar paper. It is very inexpensive. One roll should be enough. We got ours for around $30. You will need som roofing nails. The particle board will swell and crumble if it gets wet. We went through with that from a bathroom leak. He also uses it before he puts laminate flooring for a vapor barrier. I love the size of the new build. Greetings from Southeastern Kentucky.
Thank you for sharing your lives with us. You both set a great example of how to be kind and helpful towards each other in all you do. You both work very hard to raise your beautiful family while remaining positive and always sharing a Bible verse with us. Again thank you. Have a blessed day.
I admire the work ethic, but it's a shame that Jesse is handling almost all of the material and is up on the roof by himself. Your kids should be helping so that they can learn a useful skill that they will never get in school.

With you using particle board instead of plywood, make sure your roof is really sealed up to prevent any leaks in the future.
Getting closer, Jesse was humming a xmas Carol cute.

Awesome, stay safe
Is it the camera angle or is the roof sloping the wrong directiom? Water will seep down the walls at the junction?
Curious if you have a building permit. My state you be shut down without one. Have to be up to hurricane code
We don’t have to have one where we live
@@dennisdunnigan97 so explain what's unsafe about this build?
Jesse you're supposed to stagger your seams or didn't nobody ever tell you that

Really don’t want our kids on a small unfinished roof
@@WybleFamilyAdventures Having your children help lift you the supplies has nothing to do with them actually being on the roof.
