Along with all the RIP to Savage, Hall, & Dusty, I’d also like to say RIP to Don West, him and Tenay were the voices of TNA and commentary wasn’t the same without him.
Captain Hindsight here, but what a magical time this was to be a TNA fan. Such an eclectic mix of past, present and future talent. 02-06 what a few golden years of TV🤷♂️🤟🏻
@@TheCooterpuppet No trending. Trending might've had someone tune in who didn't always watch TNA, but liked wrestling, and get them interested. Live watch alongs on your computer and AOL chat is not the same as TikTok or Twitter on your phone.
Just the sight of Randy "The Macho Man" Savage around 0:11-0:13, for example was enough to make me smile & brighten my day. R.I.P., Randy "The Macho Man" Savage.
If anyone had told us back in '04 that it would be Coach D'Amore who would lead the company's new ownership group and save it from the brink of destruction to spearhead its creative renaissance...we'd have been dumbfounded to say the least. Cool how life works, eh?
Wasn't D'Amore already on the booking team in 2005 though? If so, it's not that crazy that a guy who booked for a company would later go on to book for the company again.
Elix Skipper should've been at least an x division champion. Dude was so underrated and that cage walk proved that he had potential of being a x division champion. If he was in wwe back then I would've loved to seen a match between him and shelton
I'll always wonder how they were able to pay for guys like Macho Man, Nash, Hall etc. yet have crowds this small consistently. Obviously they nosedove in the end, but they were barely scratching the surface here. How they were able to survive as long as they did remaining in the impact zone as long as they did blows my mind. Makes me sad Elix Skippers cage spot is one of the best in tna history and they did it for this tiny (albeit packed) house. This Era TNA will always a soft spot in my heart
Tna was the company that had it all imo at this time, you had wcw talent, former wwe talent , you had japan talent , tna originals like aj abyss etc and ecw guys were coming over too. I think tna complimented the careers of a lot of guys raven being one of em. I just wish the momentum kept going
Do you think they were actually at a WWE catering table? The give away is that there was a guy flashing a 3 whatever symbol, and no WWE worker or fan would even know what that means.
Is Hector Garza wearing Triple H ring gear? Lol that's awesome if he was intentionally rockin that gear with the iron cross with the H on the logo 😄 How did he not get sued!?!? So crazy lol
Who was being featured in this segment around 2:15:46-2:16:13?... Also, it sounded like somebody was trying to do a Triple H impersonation near the end of the segment, but, I'm not sure. I must have Triple H on the brain & that's probably why I made that comparison.
2 of the best young talents in the business at the time in the main event, and the guy who hadn’t been seen in years and would never be seen again is the one who goes over. A sign of things to come for the future of the company. WCW 2.0.
TNA without Mike Tenay just isn't the same in my opinion. Whether he's with Don west or Taz, that didn't matter. He really poured his heart out for calling every show
for me Turning Point 2004 is the first TNA PPV, that's how Victory Road 2004 should have been, and the best thing is that the main event is one of the best matches in TNA history.
WCW late 90s Hogan Hall Nash Macho, they were big recognizable names but all almost over the hill, by the time they got to TNA in early 00s they were over the hill. This just looked like trying to hang on to something that was over with. TNA would have been better of with out them. They should put time and money into developing young talent.
anybody know where in orlando, was there 30years-more, dont recall-it, allso eddie gram sports staduim, location somebody, close to disney world, ---- anybody, thanks~
And I love that Coach Scot D is still in impact right now. And if any of you watch reliving the war shout out to wrestling bios you can catch a couple of his matches he's always a jobber and getting squashed but still it's pretty cool how passionate he is about the business he just wanted to be there
For those who want to see when Randy "The Macho Man" Savage arrives, skip ahead to the 2:13:40 mark.

very phenomenal as ever.🤘🤘🤘🤘
Just so phenomenal P1 AJ Styles.
"Eddie, what do you want me to do?"
First

2:16:00 Triple H & Vince McMahan 😂
The Vince McMahon and hhh impressions are so bad and made TNA look so cheap 😅 wwe weren't even acknowledging TNA 😂
Russo is just throwing shade at his former boss Vince and persisted even when Hogan and Bischoff came in.
Making fun of Vince and HHH never gets old.
RIP SCOTT HALL AND Randy Savage
Hey Yo and Ooh yeah
what about Dusty Rhodes?
... and R.I.P. to T.N.A. 🥺
We still miss those legends ooohh yeahhh
@@davids.w5514 Forgot him.
Both in WCW and TNA Scott Hall and Kevin Nash was a great tag team. And I am watching a recently found upload.

2:45:00 historic moment in TNA

DDP always looked better with long hair, idk why he cut it short.
Because he knows 60 year olds look ridiculous with rock n roll haircuts.
the Vince McMahon sequences are hilarious
Captain Hindsight here, but what a magical time this was to be a TNA fan. Such an eclectic mix of past, present and future talent. 02-06 what a few golden years of TV🤷♂️🤟🏻
Be there live to see macho man's final match was the coolest experience ever.
I had such a blast that night. Thanks for the flashback
I had no clue Johnny B Badd was in TNA. Crazy. I grew up watching him in the early 90s in WCW as Badd. I had always assumed his WWE run was his last.
He was there for a very short time.
The segment with abyss is hilarious 😂
Dude that came out of the limousine trying to act like Mr McMahon
yeah it was a parody of a Mr McMahon and Mankind segment (since Abyss was called a Mankind rip off)
My introduction to TNA and its been TNA 4life !!!!
2:13:42 Savage in the match
I remember had this on DVD when it came out🔥🔥

LEGALLY.... can TNA release that uncensored version of the cookies and milk? Or even show it on WWE Network or a A&E Biography in the future? lol
Do you think they were actually at a WWE catering table? The give away is that there was a guy flashing a 3 whatever symbol, and no WWE worker or fan would even know what that means.
They we’re making fun of WWE 🤣
WWE used to watch TNA to see how to run a wrestling show. Shane Douglas said so.
When impact used to have crowds. Now there is 11 people in the audience
they have more than that its like 200 or 300
@@kwsa77Yeah, and 0 of them paid or knew what the heck they were there watching. When Macho Man came out nobody even knew it was a big deal.

Savage, Hall and Nash looked awful. And Savage wearing a long sleeve shirt has me thinking he was worried about his body looking bad. Tough to watch.

I went to victory road in 2004 loved it meet the macho man rip
My first TNA action figures were Rhyno and Abyss. I was given them by a friend in elementary school. Those were the days.
I had one of those talking Sting dolls, although it had a fault as would say all of Samoa Joe's moves lol
Why was the crowd chanting about Hogan? I thought macho man was beloved
Thanks TNA for the upload.

The move Randy "The Macho Man" Savage used to incapacitate and pin NWA World Champion Jeff Jarrett was a short right jab.
