He sounds so beautiful and like a real human. His voice has such a wonderful weight to it that I have never heard from a vocaloid till now.
This demo really does showcase how good Kaito can sound... It's too bad so few people seem to reach this level with him.
The truth is, I cried hearing this demo. This is the first vocaloid I've ever heard that actually made me cry. KAITO has a very lovely voice.

they thought of him as failure because people didn't buy him no more no less it hasn't anything to do with how good he can sing but with how much attention he got -.- (that the reason why there are freaking lot songs on that he sings about him gotten forgotten and that people don't pay attention to him and so on...)
This may be his DEMO song, but it's my FAVORITE Kaito song I've heard.

@Kam Adrian Aha wow I'd forgotten about this comment. Funny thing, I now own some 30 or so Vocaloids, including Kaito V1 and V3. V1 is still my favorite editor to work in (V4 is nice as well, but V2 and V5 are both a pain if you ask me). Thanks for reminding me of this, though, what a blast from the past! 2012 me had no clue 😂
@Kam Adrian I started collecting around 2013 and just got as many second-hand as I could for decent deals, haha! If you're interested in the English ones, Zero-G's are really cheap, and they have sales all the time. But if you didn't want to buy a separate editor (of which only V5 is available from new, and it's a hefty price point) you'd have to buy a V2 (Tonio, Prima, and Sonika from Zero-G). They're all good, but their quality is a little rough around the edges, we can say 😅

@mimisezlol It's been referred to as "KAITO Append" multiple times by Crypton. They've talked about Soft, Mellow, Solid and Serious recordings and even announced that Kaito's scarf was going to be transparent. xD

Kaito's appearance is based off the animesque box art he got from Yamaha, and his personality was created after Miku made him popular. Crypton's only involvement came later. though there was a lot.
Kaito has such a warm voice~ it's so gentle. ^^

@mimisezlol Crypton Future Media did create KAITO. He did not get his appearance from YAMAHA. No Vocaloid has a personality. Some have a brief description of the character. Miku did not make KAITO famous. I believe KAITO Append is Vocaloid 3.
@mimisezlol It's debatable... Crypton created KAITO and KAITO utilizes the Vocaloid1 engine developed by YAMAHA. And KAITO isn't their first.
