Tarantula looked annoyed with how many times it had to web back up. Poor mama is trying to keep her babies in check and here comes Petko opening the front door wide open lol
Love when people let the babies hatch and grow to actual slings with their mom. I know it can be risky since they're so tiny & can possibly escape but, if you're diligent about closing up all ventilation holes & tiny openings, it's a beautiful thing to let the mother raise up her babies she starved herself & cared for for over a month. I saw that she was doing a good job keeping most of them inside as well, that's a lot of babies to keep track of. Great job collecting them so gently, they're all adorable & look very healthy xx
I love seeing how excited you got when you found the slings! You really are passionate about what you do and that's why it's fun to watch your channel.
Congratulations! They are all so fuzzy and cute I love the little bit of pink tint their legs have as babies Momma should be proud of herself, she did good!
That rewebbing was awesome, especially how she used debris to create a better barrier against you the first rewebbing and then prior to the second rewebbing, gave you the stink-eye as if to say "damn paparazzi!"! I enjoyed this method of hatching over pulling the eggsac and am so happy for you that your slings are healthy and active. Love the colour of them, too!
I loved that Petko! Your enthusiasm even though its a pain is so heartwarming. And they're so cute! OMG! 😍 The fact you want to do it like this again so that mum isn't sadly looking for her egg sack is so commendable. Amazing video. Hope you and your family are well. 😊
Nice video, I love to see when the babies hatch with their mother. I stopped pulling egg sacks some while ago, especially Poecilotheria sacks because I was too lazy caring for the praelarvae. Yet I've got the impression that slings that got reared by their mother often are healthier and more stable, so that's an argument for keeping it to the mother to ler the sack hatch.
Lol your passion is contagious! I’ve been crippled with arachnophobia in my past, so thank you for showing us your passion and love for these critters! How is Felix? Is he ok?
Very nice experience, super cute. Very fortunate that they were so easy to handle in that piece of bark. I'd expected you to put it in a tub, so even if they fell out, they'd still be secured.
first This was an awesome video and I remember watching that unfortunate event when that video came out back in the days of the old couch. So awesome to see how confident you are now and how much you've grown your collection. Top notch video today. Thank you!
Those fuzzy little babies are so cute!😢 I've watched Dave from Dave's Little Beasties collect slings like this enough now to wonder if there were any hidden in the substrate that you might've missed. I'm just imagining finding random little tarantulas when least expected over the next few months!😳😂
To be honest I really liked that you allowed her to raise her young until they were big enough for you to capture them and though they might have been a low count they all looked super healthy.
Petko!!!!! This video was so fun to watch! The editing is perfect! Also I too agree that leaving the eggs with the mother is better and like you said,”more fun”!!!
17 minutes into the video, and I have been absolutely joyed by all that good footage, really solid eye candy in this one 👍🏼 Congrats on on the hard work 🎉
I'm binge watching your vids right now and just watched a video where you informed us about the loss of one of your spiders. But right after that this video started so I can look at so many cute little babys. The Cycle of Life. ♥
This was so amazing and fun to watch! I love the way you did it this time and was able to record it all for us to see too. Curious, was momma searching for babies afterwards as if she would have been looking for her egg sack?
Cute little slings. After all the loss we've all had over the last couple of years in nice to see life coming into the world. Thankyou for this moment. And thankyou tarantula mummy and daddy. for doing such a good job.
This absolutely one of the best videos ever. My first thought was oh boy 68? T's. Then reality kicked in. That's a lot of work. Such a very good 8 legged baby dad.
I was squeaking like one of those plastic toys with all the fluffiness and cuteness overload and now my bf thinks I'm crazy. Love this little critters but love petko even more
One thing came to my mind when I saw you battling with the camera looking for the slings, if you decide to continue to breed slings without retrieving the eggs from the enclosure, it will be easier to found them in narrow spaces by using an endoscope. I follow a channel who has snakes and they bought one when one of their bullsnakes went loose in their facility. They did bought a not expensive one, it cost them around 20$. And yes they did retrieved their snake unharmed 🙂
Just a heads up: Be very careful with preventing your Paludarium to leak or mold! I just found a bunch of mold behind my moss wall even though i thought it was sealed perfectly. Would be a shame if you had to redo or even trash the whole thing
You have such love for these animals and it is obvious. Not like some RUclipsrs I wont mention by name that I have seen flick babies around with a paint brush.
So cool! I like the idea of letting Mom do the hatching and then collecting the slings afterwards. Great job, Petko. Good luck raising all those babies. At least you have some recent experience of being a father. ROFL See you next time.
Those slings are SO CUTE!! Mama is looking quite thin too. Hope you can fatten her up without any issues! You should have put a catch cup over the ventilation holes and seen how many would sneak through into the cup. Might have made your job a little easier. 😅
Hi Petko from Canada! I just wanted to say I really enjoy your videos. Love who you are and great job with the editing, always really entertaining to watch!!
I do like this method better..as the babies get to have their first 2 molts in the right conditions and with the mother...sure some might eat eachother..but thats life and insures the stronger babies will do better.
Wow amazing Dark den yes she is holding on to it for sure.. wow so cool watching her close it off again epic video thanks congrats woot that is amazing
A pretty bunch of slings for sure, dunno if psalmo pulchers are easy to keep but I sure want one now to keep alongside my fireleg. thanks for the content as always Petko
Watching her reseal the opening, even bringing extra stuff up to stick in the webbing, was one of the coolest things I've ever seen!
Same, I could watch that all day
ikr, that was so cool. I love watching my tarantula web up her enclosure, it's so good to watch,& kinda relaxing in a way💜💙🇬🇧🕷😘
That shot where she was covering entrance with web and music was amazing
She's like damn it I just kidproofed the front door who opened it?!
Tarantula looked annoyed with how many times it had to web back up. Poor mama is trying to keep her babies in check and here comes Petko opening the front door wide open lol
And then she probably wondered where all her babies went!!!
I was aww-ing and gushing over those cute, fuzzy sling babies through the entire video. They are so adorable!
👍

i agree.How nature intended.
They could get eaten by the mother though that's why he's doing it to take no chances
@@alfieupchurch8462 very true 💜💙🇬🇧🕷🕸 x
@@alfieupchurch8462 don’t they also cannabalize amongst the slings?
@@cosmicmoose6663 yea thats why he is also separating them
I love seeing how excited you got when you found the slings! You really are passionate about what you do and that's why it's fun to watch your channel.
Person with arachnophobia here: Those babies are cute! They look like little fuzzy starfish XD
Loved this video. It was so funny, my toddler kept wildly pointing at each baby while we watched as if he was trying to help you. 🤣
Yay babies! Look at those fuzzy little legs! They're so adorable!! 😍😍
Awww such a good momma! I the way she pushed them back and tucked them! 🥺🥺🥺🥺😍😍😍😍😍
Congratulations!
They are all so fuzzy and cute
I love the little bit of pink tint their legs have as babies
Momma should be proud of herself, she did good!
This has to be in my top 5 favorite videos of yours now! Such a cool thing to see! And those slings are adorable.

Mum was super calm too, which is superb.

How is Felix? Is he ok?
I think we can all agree this is singlehandedly the best title petko has ever thought of
Very nice experience, super cute. Very fortunate that they were so easy to handle in that piece of bark. I'd expected you to put it in a tub, so even if they fell out, they'd still be secured.
This was really cool! I enjoyed watching you gather up all the fuzzy little slings. Great job, Petko!

I really look forward to seeing how you handle the separation of the slings. Enjoy your channel very much. Take care.

I was wondering the same thing, I love watching his wife going through the substrate, it's calming lol
She is gorgeous. All the members of this genus are so stunning.
To be honest I really liked that you allowed her to raise her young until they were big enough for you to capture them and though they might have been a low count they all looked super healthy.

I'm also curious on this too! She had a lot to care for and now they are all gone. Very interesting to wonder what her thoughts are.

That was amazing to watch. Well done. Beautiful slings. Reminds me of Avicularia Avicularia.
Such a proud grandpapa! Hehe , if the big ones are your babies the little ones are grand babies.. so so amazing and cute.

Wow they are actually super cute! Bigger than I expected slings to be too
Was it just me that saw the 4th sling in the enclosure at 19:52? Top right among the leaves? 😅
When slings do that nice slow tarantula stroll it is so cute 🥺 when they bolt around it's a little less cute but they're still adorable
1:56 - 2:06
The Tarantula in the top left enclosure is trying to ESCAAAPPEEEE!!!! 🤣
The most excited and slightly stressed new father running after his fast babies
I used to be so scared of spiders 🕷 😬 but now I love them all!! Thanks 😁 🥰🥰🥰

You really need to purchase an external monitor to keep track of recording, focus etc. :)
That was fun. Thank you!
Awesome video! Its videos like these that prove Tarantulas really can be cute and fluffy! (P.S. love the starship tshirt!)
Petko! Have you seen the recent events about exotic pets? It's the Lacey act about banning exotic pets from being transported!
