I think what makes this series interesting is the toxicity... Day loves control and I think Itt loves his violence and control...he would start thinking Day doesn't love him anymore if he stopped being controlling. Just my opinion

But when Day apologized and was no longer as possessive, controlling or violent because he was trying to be the nice guy Itt wanted, Itt was not happy with it and told Day that he liked the possessive Day. He did not feel like the nice Day loved him because he would not get jealous or control what he did...I mean there is a level of violence that he did not like but overall, he loves when Day is possessive and controlling him. Sometimes I think he just does things to provoke Day's possessiveness.
