I got her 2/5. She’s really good bait for anniversary. A new character that’s also a fan favorite and our first sprint and Paldea sync pair. It’s hard to resist the hype for me aha. Great theme as well.

(part 3. finale) nemona the way i see her is one of the weirdest i ever felt with a unit. her new kit is kind of a midground between support and tech, but not exactly quite good on any. Damage wise she lacks quite somewhat. TPunch is not good, and B-Double Shock does not seem like the worst move ever (if it has an innate Ramming Speed) but i see it being weak for a two uses move. also her nuke does not have the x1.5 EX boost. Supporting wise, her Trainer Move does everything, and its not bad at all, but MP relying. So I see her mostly being closer to a Support than anything else. Gauntlet is another different thing. Evasion + 100% Para TPunch looks really good. Should be cooking anything not named Moltres, Latias and i guess Terrakion. Overall she is an easy skip cause of timing, but also kinda feel disappointed with her kit, especially when she is "this year's ss steven". i guess her selling point is more on being the first Paldean character and the new role (plus being Nemona, who is a fan fav), but meta-wise i cannot really see it. Will be doing dailies just cause its Goku, i mean, Nemona, and I love her, but please SAVE YOUR GEMS

wdym her buddy move is more than half of Ash’s buddy move damage so 2 of them should deal even more, and her sync WITHOUT the tech ex deals almost the same as SST
oh and about the new role. People say it should still be tech, I disagree. Firstly, cause there's some techs that were more support-ish and had the x1.5 tech boost that was kinda unnecessary (like SC Steven), but most importantly, because we were fearing new Tech units. Since 4/5&5/5 grids are a thing, we have gotten almost double the Tech units than supports, and easily more than double the strikers. At this point, I am certain there's no F2P that is not struggling massively on Tech Candies. So having the new role on a unit that before this month would have been a tech (in my opinion) means that she will use a different candy than any of the 10 techs i have waiting to be candied, and I like that. Yes we don't know if we are getting more candies, yes we don't know how we are getting these candies, but lets wait for next month first, see how they give them out, and then judge. for me currently, its just something that will make me not want to cry when looking at my units waiting to be candied

There was no reason to add 2 roles that are essentially the same as old teck units, and how to create a differentiation betwin this unit and those of the same role that will come out in the future? They are going to be all the same, you can change the type but they will be always high speed and sync move countdown reduction.

So if you had to compare this considering the speed up... like an assassin class in RPGs? Glass cannon? Like if you asked me where I'd place the other roles, attack obviously can be glass cannon, double edged sword, or tank, meanwhile supports can be tanks or walls like Blastoise is a tank it hits hard and takes damage hard, while Kris Suicune is a wall. Healers also tend to be either walls, or some tech units fill this role well, but I'd label tech more ass mages or assassins, they chip away at damage, or have strong magic (special in Pokemon terms) output in defense and attack. Granted obviously some tech units do fill in other roles, tech seemed more all over the place, heck Mew is a jack of all trades, it's just when I think of tech units they fill this like Tornadus I'd classify as assassin, Raihan Flygon, Red Pikachu until it can use volt tackle then it's just an AOE glass cannon. Venusaur also interesting, kind of a blend of wall/healer and assassin... tech is odd and I'm curious how these not just 1, but 2 new roles will fit in.
It's confirmed on the official JP POMA twitter that the next Type Master event is Electric type. Also she will be gone on August 28, before anniversary happens. But I'm sure by that time, datamines already out there.
Idk i feel like this new role is useless i can just use a support with adrenaline instead....i have both anni pikachu so i don't need electric damage...i'll have to see more sprint units before i consider pulling for them
Yeah only thing i see the new Role be helpful is if it can pretty much shred the Sync countdown so you can pretty much sync turn 1 or 2 right after their sync.
Its best to not focus on summoning for the Johto Trio right away as their banners won't go away until late September, not to mention that they get released just before the anniversary units are revealed. I'm gonna focus on getting Maxie & Groudon since his banner will be gone by the 25th right before the Anniversary units are revealed.

Lol, fruition, get it? B/c a lemon is a fruit (and expecting various other fruit-related ScVi puns). Kinda feels like how base Leon felt when he was first introduced (also, they're both Champions, lol): majority of the hype was basically b/c he was the 1st Master Fair and we didn't have any legitimate point of comparison to what future Master Fairs could be. So idk, investment-wise, she may get overshadowed by a bunch of other units that come after her, but maybe 2-3 years later she'll get some boost that brings her back into the limelight for a while. I hope the fact that she's a pokefair means she'll get rerun banners fairly often and also get added to those pokefair select scout banners eventually.
