*Throp* your quality of guests are increasing on a weekly basis, which makes the anticipation even more worthwhile. *Dick Gregory* was an icon for civil rights through comedic satire and protests. To find out that his daughter is on the island, further reinforce my love and appreciation for our beautiful island, that inspite of the craziness we are truly loved.
I have long believed that *Jamaica* should've been the black mecca between the main land *USA🇺🇸* and *Africa* where black people should make the journey and relocation. Our long history of having revolutionary fighters like *Marcus Garvey* and *Bob Marley* should've put our culture at the forefront of the struggle for unification..... Bless up *Throp* we appreciate you sir 🙏

Totally enjoyed this interview. I am in my 60s, Jamaican parentage born in UK. Growing up in UK I remember Dick Gregory as being one of the only positive images of Black people that we saw, because he had an International profile which transcended his influence in the USA, and of course seeing from afar the Civil Rights movements and his involvement . They say the apple does not fall far from the tree, and it is so good to see his daughter following in his footsteps. It has been 47 years since I last came to Jamaica, for various reasons I have wanted to come several times and couldn't due to other obligations. Most of those in my parents generation have now passed on so I have very few close relatives in Jamaica at this time. Travelers seems to be a special place, and I am very much hoping that I can come next year...now that we seem to be for now heading out of the worst rigors of Covid, and things beginning to look like some kind of normal. I have watched several of your Interviews, loved the one with the African-American retiree, and related to her on so many levels because I am almost at that stage myself. Sir you are are great Interviewer, you are a good listener and observer, I am quite sure that if it had been your desire and had you stayed in the USA you would have had a successful career in Broadcasting. Very much looking forward to returning to Jamaica, and staying at your resort. Thank you again.
