Absolutely correct. I’m surprised this isn’t mentioned more in the reviews. She has that fret board on fire the entire song. No guitarist male or female has more “ It factor “ than Midori!!!!!!
Lovebitesの復活Liveで、Famiがどのように振舞うかに多くの人は興味を持っていただろう。Famiは卓越した技術と心臓で、初舞台を乗り越えた。MiyakoからCD(Judgement Day)の原曲データを渡され、約2週間で編曲し、自宅録音を完成させたという才能がにじみ出ている。LovebitesのLiveは、これまでツインギターを中心に据えていたけれど、この録音から変化を感じる。Harunaのドラムが音源の中心で爆発し、Famiのベース音も渦巻いていて、舞台の迫力と刺激を感じさせる。最後のソロで、FamiのMidoriへの視線がなかなか興味深かった。
Fami is the tallest member of the band now. ☺
このアルバムの傾向が低音を少し上げてますね。その分M＆Mのギターが時々聞き取りにくくなってます。この曲だけに限って言えばミドリの音量が少し勝っているのでイントロ・アウトロのベースタッピングがMV版よりも聞き取りにくいです。

機材だけでなく、エンジニアも代わったのだと思います。これまでのLIVE作はツインギター重視で、正面左右に位置していたのに、外側に押し出されてしまいました。ドラム重視だと迫力はすごいけれど、ギターは存在感を弱めましたね。さて、次期LIVEはどうなるでしょうか。@@gatograto
Yeah that was fire as usual! Hey thanx for pushing these ladies hard on your channel they deserve to be huge! I´m an ex-Pro myself who completely lost the joy of music untill i discovered this Band and i´m literally obsessed!!!
There are very few bands that sound better live than in the studio and this is one, they have got a top team supporting them, sound, lighting etc, as an old metalhead (wrong side of 60) the sheer talent that these ladies have is on another level.
It's like 80's metal got refined.
Fami was way up in the live mix! I think she has added a new life to the band. An excellent choice!! 🤟🏻🤟🏻
I`m an x roadie and I didn't notice her missing any notes. Their videos are awesome but their live videos are F---king INCREDIBLY AWESOME!!!!!!! There is nobody better live. 🤘🐺
I would say Epica and Nightwish might be better live, but these ladies are amazing!
I love their MV and Live, but there is something about the "electric atmosphere" when they play live that i cant explain.. And the perfection they manage to perform on stage, song after song, well i can only compare to the Eagles as coming so close to the original recordings..No matter how technical. (also their sound tech(s) is genius !

mao, he started as a keyboardist in a band called Light Bringer together with Fuki, the singer of Unlucky Morpheus, around 2008 or 2009. He mostly does music for metal bands nowadays, he is really good at that.

They all leveled up for this new album. However I think Asami has improved the most I think. She has lost most of the "Japanese" English accent. Love her!

Here some good news. Lovebites do a livestream of their show in Tokyo on september 24. Tickets are available from September 16.

Love them both but I would go for the live every time with Lovebites.

Ok, we have two roadies here, can you confirm or reject my suggestion? I think that the bass tones are higher than in other LB live versions and unbalanced: very prominent bass-drums, very prominent bass from guitars up to distortion. But seems not so for Fami's bass and Asami's mic on low notes. So, when Asami takes low vocals they are masked by that drum/guitars bass (especially in Nameless Warrior). Also Fami's intro/outro in JD is masked by the guitar. So, my guess is that these are just normal settings for a live concert, because high sound travels better than low sound (it is just physics). So, if you want to have a balanced sound in the far half of a venue, you should lift the bass on the instruments. But when they process that recording in the studio for DVD, they should re-balance that setting, because they did not take sound from the middle of the hall but directly from the amps. So, my guess is that after they processed this concert for release on DVD, they just swapped by mistake the original raw concert version and the one they made. So someone sent the raw version to the DVD printers. They should at least put the correct version on the strimming platforms including RUclips. What do you think?
Honestly I preferred the live performance. Was it perfect? No! I've been a drummer in metal for over 40 years now. Personally I've never played a perfect show and NO BAND I've ever seen live has had a perfect show! Only BAND I've ever seen perform "almost perfectly" is Lovebites!!! Let's also look at a few facts about this performance!!! 1) Lovebites 1st live performance in 2 years and 1st performance will Fami as the new bassist!!! 2) this show was intended as a comeback show. 3) also the 1st time performing this song live!!! As they get ready for the Judgement Day tour I'm sure a lot of the bugs will be worked out.
