I started doing my cash stuffing and now I have officially started dave ramsey baby step #1. I have saved $100 of the $240 saving challenge. I just posted my cash condensing video. I'm really excited about starting my journey.

Definitely as a mom I do go overboard on my sons birthday. But he essentially gets like 2 birthdays. I plan for a smaller immediate family one and then a traditional one where family gathers and we spend all night gathered singing songs, praying for my sons wellbeing, his education. Enjoying the development of his life and his journey and we all eat together in the morning and celebrate with gift opening and another cake. It’s a bit that I do spend since it’s all out of my pocket but my mom would set up these birthday ceremonies for us growing up and I’m thankful to share it with my son now ❤ I encourage him to embrace our traditions that have been passed down for generations and it humbled me to see him grow into it and just be gathered by family and friends who are cheering him on with his journey in life
It makes me happy knowing there are real people out there with loving mothers. Growing up in broken abusive household really sucks. My mom and mom in law don’t like my kids 😅. And that really sucks. But I guess that’s why I was blessed with a younger sister. She is the best, and loves my children. Growing up being treated like we were burdens must have really just made sure we showed as much love and care for our own kids. AND each others ❤.

Get a FURminator brush for your dogs. Works so so so well on deshedding, especially if you keep up with it. You can also include your kids in with it so then it’s less work for you. We had 3 golden retrievers at once and it worked amazing for them. We also had an English mastiff and it also worked well for her. Taking them to get grommets is also good but having this brush keeps up with it.

What new phone do you have ?
Emily do you write each cash expenditure or do you just note the difference between what you put in and what is left. I have seen where every cash expense is written then multiple highlighters used to represent various categories - after wayching all your videos I don’t think you do - if I understand your inserts it looks like it’s easier - (in) ( total left ) .

When it was in stock, I couldn't afford it, and when I could afford it, it sold out...and that was frustrating and I took it out on you. I'm sorry. What is the plan for the savings challenge money? Pay off a debt or buy something that's needed?
There is no plan, I just wanted to see how much I could save in a year with rollover money and realized by doing this, it helps me spend less

What phone did you get? I got a 15 and don't like the camera. Thinking of the 15 Pro Max.
I think I got the 14 Pro Max, it was a few months ago! I think I had a 12 before that! The phone was in perfect condition, but my RUclips videos took hours to upload, because there was such a little storage on it! This phone has a lot of storage and it is really fast which I love, but the camera just throws me off 😮💨

I didn’t grow up with animals at all. But after I married my husband , who loves animals. And had them growing up. We have many 😂. But even then, my dogs aren’t allowed on sofas and beds. It’s just not good manners in my opinion lol
