You needed to have a reset and make space for the new! Every crisis is an opportunity! I am a rooster too, it was one of the worst year of my life, but I am thankful I could find so much strength and resilience to face the music (played by an awful band!)

Thank you. 2023 was a massive year involving moving house, buying another house, completing a third year academic degree, organising and finance in education, having another baby BUT it was all on me with little to no support. As you mentioned, this impacted relationships where there was resentment. Unfortunately I still feel it. So i appreciate the potential change where there can be more luck in relationship and support. With regards to finances, yes, I am feeling the pinch of frugality while large sums drain into overpayments and education! All of which will eventually yield return. ❤

I lost both my grandfather and father in 2023. Got myself in million worth of debt. Got my car repossessed, broke up with my wife for almost 6 months and my kids dropped out of school. What a year.
I m a 1969 rooster too. Nothing much happened and life is pretty flat and normal to me. But notice that 2023 has more money loss like things get spoiled and repair/ replace and spending. Investment cut loss/ adjustment and make some small profit. Work is slow down but much resistance/ trouble. Still able to overcome it.
Since Cny 2023, I was harassed for months by strangers who harassed me online. Seniors at work made life difficult for me, causing emotional trauma, though I'm recognised by my chairman. Health wise was bad, but I persevered and bite the bullet. These "bad" situations allowed me to grow and mature. Phew. Glad I made it through. I'm rooster 1981 BTW.
