Using a fragrance that’s not gel safe can result in various outcomes. Some burn out of control, some fizzle out, some make the gel wax look cloudy. Some all of the above. So it’s best to use what is gel safe to prevent the worst of those which is fire/out of control burn.
I used to get it from hobby lobby, but I can’t find it there anymore. So, I started getting it from Virginia candle supply and Aztec. It is patented though (so it’s all the same recipe/manufacturer), so so long as you find a supplier that is safe to shop with (like even michaels will work) you’re good to go. Especially if shipping is cheap for you! But VA and Aztec are my two favorites.
