Oh wow. I didn’t learn about these guys until the republic of freedom fighters. I went up to their house with a great seattle band(waxwing). Everyone was partying, I was in the bedroom of the guitarist making copies of every breakwater demo I could get my hands on but long since lost it. They were the NICEST guys. When one of em found me alone he sat down with me, and spent 2 hours making the best compilation tape of all time. “Do you love Drive Like Jehu as much as I do?” he asked. I did. “Well than you’re gonna love Clikitat Ikatowi, and CrownHate Ruin, Monorchid, Shotmaker, The VSS…..” That cassette changed my life. Thank you so much for posting this❤️🙏

I literally just got the Breakwater 7" yesterday. This is on my list too. I wish there was better quality recording but honestly still amazing. My all time favorite emo band
