    Just got a set of LumenIZE and they’re awesome. A right angle power adapter for the lights would be cool. My 35” jungle dawn became a 37” with the cord attached so it won’t fit inside my 36” enclosure.

      If you made a Bluetooth dimming thermostat unit with at least 4 individually controlled outlets with built in humidity control with an outlet for humidification and one for dehumidification the can be synced with the LumenIZE system I’d give you all my money

      Fantastic idea. You should send the feedback to Arcadia. I have been syncing mine up weekly with (Australian) local first light/last light + sunrise/sunset times. Would be fantastic if they worked with some weather app to import local times.

    Over a year into using the Luminize LED bar and T5's and so far so good. I did have a light at one time come on randomly in the middle of the night once, which is huge concern for my animal's well being, but after connecting with the app to everything it seems to of sorted itself out. I do wish there was a way to have a choice of standard time OR Military time. I found it extremely hard and annoying to set up in Military time. I would also like a way to export and backup my time settings to a downloadable file that I can store off device for safe keeping. Better yet if I can get that file in simple CSV file that I can edit and upload back into the devices that would be great! Also more lighting profiles would be great.

    Is there way to change the time to a 12 hour clock instead of the 24 hour clock. If not add that next time.

    Hi, great idea much needed. I have it plugged to a smart plug that turns off every night, so in the morning the schedule is not followed, does it restart every time it is switched off power? Is a shame cause i would imagine every time it gets power back it would remember the schedule

    • @TantonJS

      Why have you got it in a smart plug? The lumenize lights power off and on themself

    • @intensecutn
      @intensecutn 3 месяца назад +1

      It makes no sense using this with a smart plug that turns it off every night when it turns itself off every night. Are you using a smart plug just for the sake of using a smart plug?

      @@ArcadiaReptile Just bought this to use in an indoor aviary flight. I found the app to be very buggy, i cannot add time slots, so cannot make custom times, auto and manual button just does not work correctly and adjusting intensity in each and every time slot is an absolute nightmare trying to adjust the sliders. • @ArcadiaReptile

      LumenIZE is a bluetooth only system. Therefore you must be in range for bluetooth to connect to each lamp.

    • @jeffreymagni1272
      @jeffreymagni1272 Месяц назад

      One work around I have found in this situation is to get an old/ inexpensive Android device (like a tablet or cell phone) that is running a remote control software and then you can remote into that device from anywhere on another device to see and control your system. I have not had the time to implement yet nor have tried on Android before, but I have have done simular on windows operating systems for other applications. It gets pretty technical and not really advise unless you have a lot of tech experience.

    • @ArcadiaReptile
      @ArcadiaReptile  17 дней назад

      HI, please ensure that you have power to the lamp, the app downloaded and bluetooth switched on. Ensure that you are in range for Bluetooth and a strong signal. Making sure that the lamp is on, open the app and the lamp should quickly appear in the centre of the screen. You can then select the lamp and inset your settings. If the lamp fails to show, either close and reopen the app or press the 'Scan' button.

    Censoring comments won't make your product better ... Why when you program a start at 5% the lamp goes first at 100% before going to the 5% Please ? That totally defeats the purpose TBH ... Thanks

    • @ArcadiaReptile
      @ArcadiaReptile  Месяц назад

      You are quite correct and this is in the product information. There is a 1 second pulse for T5s in order to safe start the electron flow within the lamp. If we do not do this the lamps will burn out very quickly indeed. So, there is a 1 second pulse upon startup to create electron flow in vapor and the lamp immediately can then start its desired cycle. LED is smooth from 0% to 100% of course as we are not dependent on heat to create a flow of electrons up and down the lamp.

      It probably will gradually raise the brightness, and get to 100% at 12:00, and maintains 100% till 16:00 then gradually lower the brightness till 20:00.

    • @ArcadiaReptile
      @ArcadiaReptile  5 месяцев назад +2

      yes this is right. The data points start or stop a process. If you have 0% at 7am and 100% at 11am, the lamp will be off between the end point and 7am and than slowly increase from being off to full power between 7am and 11am. @@張彥暉-v8p

      Don't worry, the English one is just as bad! Intuitive? I'd say counter-intuitive. Even with this this tutorial I can't figure out how to use the app.
      It all made sense until 2:00 in, when it switches from a hand using a phone, to a screen recording. Then it just starts rapidly switching between screens, talking about buttons I can't see and getting into screens I have no idea how to get to!
      Even the instructions are useless. They say "press custom mode 1-5". There is nothing I can see in the app that says "custom mode" at all.
      Very disappointed.

      @@ArcadiaReptileThank you for the reply. I've got it sorted now.
      How do I send feedback to Arcadia? I have a few things that would be helpful. One being that it doesn't show the current % status of the lamp. When I switch to manual, the slider is on whatever % I left it on, not the current % the lamp is on. From what I understood from this video, if you switch to manual the slider will show you the current %, but it doesn't. Maybe I misunderstood.
