    Weird system because if you're able to travel (and have the $$$ to do so) you score more points. So basically not everyone gets a fair chance. I think a good start would be to lower the difference in points between the different competitions. Also it's weird that every national championship is the same class (B).

      Precisely my top criticism of the system! Money is a huge driver of access to meets with points….

      The reason the natty champs are B is because they’re not international, they try to keep single nation meets B or lower… a lot of C and higher in Europe because the countries are so close together and they can easily travel for cheap

      If USATF put more money into the meets so you don’t have to travel, it would be beneficial as well, ( more prize money at more meets in US) so they can be C or higher

      @@JackedJavelin Yeah, but still weird because if you’re from a small country with a little amount of javelin throwers it’s a way easier nationals. Try to win nationals in India, that got really fckng hard in the past few years.
